La Roulotte shepherd's hut (ensuite)
Liked: Beautiful location and we were left to ourselves which was great! Walks from the campsite were stunning and you could spend all day looking at the view and watching the birds. Everything we needed in the little hut. The hut was very pretty and the next door bathroom was very clean. Close to Sidmouth and all the major coast towns and beaches are easily accessible. We were lucky as the one other shepherd's hut on site was empty so we were totally on our own

L'Hirondelle shepherd's hut (ensuite)
Liked: A beautifully equipped shepherds hut. Bathroom was great, lovely roomy shower which ran nice and hot. Surprisingly great space inside for two of us and a greyhound. Bed really comfy and spacious. Everything you would need to cook, eat and drink with. BBQ and fire pit with wood provided we’re a great touch. A really nice quiet spot in the Devon hills surrounded by nature. Nothing too much trouble for the owner. Would definitely return for a weekend away. Very reasonably priced too.

Liked: A wonderful small rural peaceful site. Great views and as I was travelling with a dog it was a delight to be able to let the dog out first thing in the morning and to wander around before breakfast. It is so easy to get to many other beautiful places from here. The weather was kind to us and both the dog and I had the best short break that we have had. It is the second time we have been to this site and I am definitely booking to go again. Loved it.
