Lovely, well-kept site with great views. Friendly owners, top-notch facilities, handy shop. Good for walking to Hope Cove, though roads can be tight. Showers are 20p, changing areas could be better. Wi-Fi's a bit hit-or-miss.

Liked Friendly and attentive hosts who want you to have an excellent stay and are very open to feedback. Beautiful setting with great walking on the doorstep. Very useful shop with fresh bread and pastries available to order. Facilities kept pristine.
Disliked Water is supplied from a spring so the owners ration water usage through charging for showers and washing-up. Trouble is that it's difficult to get hot water in the wash-up area without spending 40p a time!

Liked Friendly atmosphere, stunning location, our plot provision was carefully thought out and allocated providing lots of shade based on the fact we had multiple dogs and a young child.
Excellent facilities available. Would highly recommend and definitely will be returning.

Liked We loved this campsite very large pitches, facilities amazing showers and toilets very clean, you can order bread consonants ETC for the following morning, the owner was extremely helpful and checked on you every day to make sure you were ok he even came down on the morning to say goodbye a really lovely man.It was a 15 minute walk into hope Cove which was lovely and a lovely coastal walk, I would highly recommend this campsite.

Liked Well maintained and picturesque campsite with lots of character. Great welcome from an attentive owner who put us on a shaded pitch ideal for our two dogs. Peaceful location within walking distance of Hope Cove. Small shop on site and you can order bakery products for the following day. Highly recommended

Liked Beautiful campsite with spacious pitches. Stunning views & great hiking location. Hope cove is about 1/2 hr walk.
Really liked the staff and the facilities were really clean. Great Saturday night pizzas too!
Disliked 20p for 1.5 minutes is a little irritating but to be honest it made Me conscious about my water usage so it’s objective worked. I would have preferred a larger cubicle to change into my dry things or more hooks in the showers for clothes as they get wet on the floor.

I’m especially glad you found the staff great and the facilities clean, as those are our main focuses in running the site. We work hard to keep everything well looked after, so it really does mean a lot when guests notice and appreciate it.
Thank you also for your feedback about the showers. The 20p system is in place mainly because our water comes from our own spring rather than a mains supply, so it helps us manage water usage across the site, particularly during busy periods. That said, I completely understand your point about the changing space and hooks. We’ll certainly take that on board, as small practical improvements like extra hooks can make a big difference.
