What customers say
Grounds spacious, staff sound. Facilities usually grand but some find them a bit old, and toilets can be tricky when it's busy. Storms hit the clubhouse but new bits are coming. Good spot for local sights, but you'll need a car. Wi-Fi costs.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Area and views were fab.
Disliked Toilets and shower areas were appalling. How any park is allowed to operate like this is beyond me. Men’s worse than women’s, soiled toilet paper all over the place and in the drains was pure poo. Smell was disgusting.

Great location of site, family friendly, nice spacious pitches.
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The pitch was spacious, clean, check in was friendly and they were relaxed about how you choose to set up on your pitch.
It was quiet after 11pm no excessive noise (bar the cows being out of sorts from boardmasters one night) even though it was a very busy site.
The bar was friendly and the pizza and beer was a good price and the pizza were freshly made and nice. They do karoke a few nights if that’s your thing.
It was a nice flat pitch. In a excellent location to some truely stunning beaches.
Disliked The touring site only had 3 cubicles on the men’s toilet which we felt is not enough for the capacity of this site (one of those toilets had broken toilet seat)
The showers were generally quite cold and only ran for a few seconds at the time needing the button to be push continuously.
The bins were always overflowing and needed to be emptied more regularly.
There was building work being conducted next to the children play park (the fence between was actually removed while the park was still in use with a digger)

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Staff were friendly. This campsite had been a firm favourite to stay at over previous years. Unfortunately the standards have desperately slipped.
Disliked The toilets blocks need cleaning more frequently in busy seasons. Several toilets were not working and there were many ceiling tiles missing.
The decking from the toilet block is in need of an upgrade.
The commercial waste bins are seriously overflowing, smelling and covered in flies.
The site shop is basically stocked, the bread we purchased was out of date.
The building work for the new complex was unfenced and unsecured.

Not the campsites fault
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Campsite is lovely staff in reception and bar very welcoming and helpful. All amenities very clean and tidy.. Will definitely be returning.
Disliked Only issue we had is the people at the camp pitch near the park thought it was. Just for them numerous times kids were hitting and bullying my autistic son so my daughter who's older and also autistic went with him to the park she rang me to say boys on bikes surrounded him and I went to get him and when I arrived he was forced up against the fence and he couldn't move because they blocked him with bikes. I told them to leave him alone and was slapped in my face by 1 of the boys bigger cousin who was 16 I didn't hit her back then her drunk dad came over and was swearing at my 14 Yr old autistic daughter because she was videoing.. What happened and the dad was in her face.. They didn't even make her apologise for what she did just drunk parents letting their kids do what they want

Terrible, won't stay again
Electric grass tent pitch
Liked Location to Padstow and porthcothan
Disliked On multiple occasions the toilets were either out of toilet paper or did not work. The showers were awful, no hot water and poorly maintained. The bins were constantly overflowing. There was noise from building work both on and off site. The manager and owner was extremely rude to staffed and swore at them in front of customers. Poor customer engagement.
