What customers say

A haven for adults, praised for pristine cleanliness, calm vibes, and top-notch staff. Spotless facilities, great pitches, and lovely quiet surroundings. Handy for seeing the sights. Wi-Fi can be patchy, and access roads are narrow, but it's a real find for a chilled break.

Electric grass touring caravan, tent or trailer tent pitch

From the manager: TRANSLATION.... Liked: The location, the cleanliness, and the quietness.

Disliked: We were traveling by bike and had reserved a site with electricity.
We couldn't use the site's electricity because the reception didn't provide extension cords.
It's a shame.

REPLY:
We're so pleased you enjoyed the location, cleanliness, and peaceful atmosphere during your stay.
Regarding the electricity, we understand the inconvenience and appreciate your feedback. It's a common misunderstanding that electric pitches come with a standard plug connection. In fact, they require a specific type of camping cable that complies with British & European safety standards. Unfortunately, we do not sell or rent out these cables, and we recommend that guests bring their own when planning to use an electric pitch.

We hope to welcome you again in the future.
Regards
Ginny

Electric grass and gravel touring caravan pitch

Liked Just back from the most wonderful 4 nights at this lovely holiday park.
Safe to say, the nicest we've ever stayed at , and it was our 16th time away in our caravan in 3 years.
Definitely will return.
Lovely peaceful setting, lovely scenery amongst trees and wildlife, with a little stream running through.
Very neat and tidy. Toilet/shower facilities excellent, and spotless.
Staff so friendly and asking if all ok.
Lovely layout too with circular 'cul-de-sac' type areas.
Enjoyed playing pool in the games room as well as a game of table tennis outdoors too.
Did not want to come home. A huge thank you to all involved at Eden Valley Holiday Park.

Disliked Absolutely nothing.

Electric gravel and hardstanding motorhome pitch

Liked Greeted by the friendly owner on our arrival. Peaceful, quiet relatively small campsite, good sized, level pitches, but we also saw some really nice lodges. Adult only site. Lovely surroundings, shaded under the trees , and next to running water during a heatwave. Facilities were immaculate. Great location close to the Eden Sessions. We only stayed a couple of nights on this occasion, but we will ne back.

Liked Everything! Owner’s are extremely welcoming. Pitches are spacious, level & well maintained, water tap’s & dustbin’s are close to hand, site is immaculate with plenty of shade & a lovely stream running through the middle. Adult’s only. Enclosed dog field is fabulous, mown regularly, poo bin & bench table also provided! Washroom’s are spotlessly clean & have individual shower’s with basin & loo, very reasonably priced & a great location for visiting Looe, Fowey, Eden Project, Lost Garden’s of Heligan etc. Highly recommend & we will be back, thank you Den, Ginny & Ryan x

Local attractions

Two of Cornwall’s major attractions are within a quick drive – The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan – but a recommended start is staying local and heading over the hill a mile-and-a-half away to the ancient town of Lostwithiel, set in the Fowey river valley. After going local, go either north or south: north will take you to Bodmin Moor (half an hour’ drive), home of the fabled beast and the place of legend, tors and Brown Willy, and to the National Trust’s country house Lanhydrock (10 minutes) with sculptures, woodland trails, adventure playground and lavish gardens. Or head to Padstow, Newquay and Tintagel (all aroud 45 minutes) for seafood, surfing and swashbuckling tales of King Arthur; the Camel Trail runs near Padstow for horse riding, cycling and walking. Going south, more biking and walking is along the China Clay Trail, along with digging into history at St Austell’s China Clay Country Park (20 minutes). The town of Looe is within half an hour along the coast for fishing, shark spotting and a 12-mile walk to Fowey along the South West Coast Path if you’re feeling so inclined.
