Very nice park more suitable for familys than solo/quiet couples.
The Honeybee camping pod (no pets)
Liked The site was very clean, well organised and the staff were very friendly.
Disliked The glamping pods are way too close to the kids park. It was very noisy during the day. It feels like the pods have just been put in the wrong place. You dont get the peaceful vibes that you expect when booking a pod.
Luckily the kids park seemed to close at about 10-10:30pm so theres a slight relief until 7am when it starts again!

Outstanding location & facilities. Amazing helpful & friendly staff.
Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch
Liked Absolutely outstanding. Superb location. Great access to Ullswater Lake and the surrounds. Fantastic site with really great facilities which would be suitable for all types of visitors, young and old, couples like us, or whole families. The showers, toilets, and washing facilities were the best and by far the cleanest of all of the sites we visited in the Lake District. The staff are outstanding - so helpful and friendly, and this even included an offer of help to tow our motor home out of some mud when we got stuck in Ullswater. The additional opportunity to take our motor home to the Marina was an added bonus. Highly recommended for the facilities and the amazing warmth and friendliness of all the staff we interacted with. The on-site Ullswater Chippy was excellent too and also highly recommended - well worth the queue (it is very popular!)

Lovely site with lots of spaces, good amenities very clean and tidy.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Really clean, tidy and well organised site with just about everything you may need.
Lots of spaces to pitch and plenty of room.
Disliked Some loud talkers until late, some not observing the quiet times. Maybe an occasional foot patrol may help to keep these in check. Was still much quieter than other sites I’ve stayed at.

The grounds were well maintained, clean and the staff were welcoming.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The views were amazing and you could see Ullswater lake from the campsite. The lake was a short walk or you can drive to the marine and park for free. The site was super clean. We had a great time and all were friendly. Thank you all for making our stay a nice.
The park for the kids was a decent size a d those with young children can camp near the park if they wish too. The ground for the tents were flat and well maintained.
The where several facilities all around the camp site and again were very clean. There is a small games room and a small bar on site too.
