Liked: Nice village location behind a friendly pub. Facilities were clean and plentiful for the limited number of pitches. Short walk to the village train station with direct links to Leeds and York, will definitely come again and stay for longer. Very quiet, we were the only people using the site.
Disliked: As we were there on a Monday evening we weren’t able to sample the local gastropub or Indian restaurant, both of which were closed. Not the site’s fault of course!

Very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.
Disliked: Sign in a neighbour's garden
A little high in cost for such a small site.

Liked: Reasonably close to Leeds Festival Bramham Park, pub and locals are Ace, takeaway was really good value and lovely selection on the menu. 2 bathrooms in Converted Trailer, little wash up area and all electric & water facilities within east reach for all pitches. Lovely little village.
Disliked: Could do with another bathroom on site when all pitches filled. Might annoy some with the private airport being right next to the site. We loved it

Liked: Situated in the heart of the village, you can walk to 2 cafes, another pub, an airfield, a takeaway and the train station.
Disliked: Pitches were on the small side and quite close together but it didn’t cause us any problems.

Liked: Sorry to say …. Nothing ☹️
Disliked: Shower facilities were poor ! Only 2 showers which was OK for a small site.
Left hand shower room was unusable as the door lock was broken ( although an attempt to rectify with a small metal hook and loop was not able to secure the door which easily could have been pushed open). The other shower tray was dirty and for some reason had been installed with the protective plastic cover still in place. This is starting to lift and has water trapped underneath.
Also , poor facility for disposal of grey waste which meant having to lift the carrier onto a toilet pan which was situated outside. ( this would be much safer and easier at floor level as many other sites provide).
There also seems to be Neighbouring field who has put signs up to deter camping. We found this bizarre and a little off putting.

From the manager: Bit supprised that a we have a complaint about the showers been dirty? most reviews compliment us on the cleanliness. The shower door is now replaced.

Disliked: Read the reviews about a broken toilet / shower room door lock from June so was surprised that on August 19th it was still broken and some fragile clasp put on which meant the door had a 1 inch gap to the campsite. 2 picnic tables, one of which was caked in dried bird poo, the lighting to the toilets / showers works on a sensor (so another camper told me even though no signs to inform you) and both sensors in both bathrooms not operating so had to shower etc in dark. Overpriced for what’s on offer at the best of times but this made it a complete rip off

From the manager: The door is actually now fixed and we have noted sign for the sensors, unfortunately we cant do much about birds and nature and most other reviews are very good. sorry you didn't like our site
