Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Lovely site. Lots of space between each pitch. Nice level pitch, totally flat. Coin operated electric was easy to use, used about £1.50 for our overnight stay. Really clean modern toilet block. Got a WhatsApp from the owner with clear instructions and entry code which was a nice touch. Other guests were all chilled and quiet, no noise from anyone.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Big flat pitches
Toilet and shower facilities
Quiet site
Jimmy the owner was a great help. Arrived having forgotten waste water hog and he sorted us out some flexi pipe.
When leaving our jockey wheel handle sheered off. He and a colleague spent 40 mins releasing the sheered off end and then securing the jockey with a bolt.

Disliked Nothing. This is a great site

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Quiet, peaceful and spacious site. Toilet and shower block was spotless, modern and each unit had lots of room. Communication on the day of arrival was prompt and thorough via WhatsApp but as there is no check-in on arrival, we never spoke with the site owners during our stay.

Disliked People jogging/running around the perimeter of pitches and around the rear of the caravans, intruding on privacy. People walking their dogs amongst the pit he's, opposed to the designated area near the pond or adjacent field.

No WiFi on site.

Liked Brilliant site - lots of space, beautiful WC/shower facilities (with more opening very shortly) and within easy reach of local facilities. The site owner is a friendly chap and often stops by to ask if everything is ok - we will be back!

Local attractions

One way to see East Yorkshire on foot is by following the 50-mile Minster Way between Beverley, York and the Wolds, and handily for Street Farm guests, the trail crosses the farm. Anyone exploring under pedal power can access the Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Route near Pocklington (half an hour by bike). Two bucket-list attractions are within 25 minutes’ drive of the site: namely York with its spectacular Gothic minster, Roman/medieval walls and entertaining history museums, and gorgeous Castle Howard, designed by Sir John Vanbrugh and surrounded by parkland filled with sculptures and follies. Landscape architect Capability Brown had a hand in the gardens at Georgian-era Sledmere House (20 minutes), where kids bored with culture can pat ponies and feed lambs (in spring) at the Rare Breed Conservation Farm Park. If a little more activity is required, have a go at watersports at Allerthorpe Lakeland Park (20 minutes), where there’s also an aqua park for kids to fling themselves around on. And of course the east coast is only 45 minutes away by car; take your pick of peaceful walks along the sandy beach at Skipsea, or head for the two stretches of sand backed by amusement arcades and cafés in Bridlington.
