Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Secluded spot, lots of wildlife around.
Disliked: As the most expensive wild camping site in the area, we were disappointed. On the site itself it had everything as advertised but everything needed some TLC. Footpaths between the carpark and site needed the brambles cutting back, no sawdust in the composting loo (so won’t compost properly and smelt), toilet was full of cobwebs with Ivy growing into it.
It says that you can get water and electricity at the main house, but we never saw anyone, so had no idea where it was. Shame really as it’s a nice place to pitch a tent.
