What customers say
Lovely rural spot with spacious pitches, friendly owners, and farm produce. Basic but clean facilities. Road noise and wasps can be an issue sometimes.

Beautiful setting and will laid out.…
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Beautiful setting and will laid out. Host really helpful when needed. Facilities as advertised and perfectly ok.
Disliked Perhaps an additional shower would be nice but everyone managed with the one.

Basic but clean facilities but it is a working farm
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Nice big pitches and grouped with friends at the end of the field. A warm welcome from Nick on arrival and some fabulous sausages purchased.
Toilets very clean !
Would definitely return
Disliked One one occasion (right at the end of the day) there was no loo roll !! As a seasoned camper though we always have some to hand and this was quickly sorted out in the morning without me needing to raise it. Would be great if there could be hot water for pot washing ! A future wish not a gripe (we knew there was only cold)

It was our kids first camp and they loved it
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Small site so not too much noise. Owner was very nice and welcoming. Good location for Royston and it was lovely to sit and watch the sheep in the neighbouring field.
Some toys onsite and a small swing set for the kids to play with were a welcome surprise
Lovely sausages, eggs and bacon from the farm for breakfast

I really enjoyed my stay. The small negatives won't stop a return.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Flat, spacious pitches. Ground soft enough to get pegs in easily. The proprietor, Nick, was friendly and available. Lovely views over pastures with flocks of sheep. Play area and provision of games in the small hut in the communal area. A peaceful atmosphere. The other campers were friendly and quiet.
Disliked The sink area is a little tired and in need of repair, such as the sloping worktop. The table and chairs in the communal area needed a clean. But all useable and reflected in price. Some passing traffic noise, but only occasional, not constant.
