What customers say
Lovely riverside spot, short stroll to Worcester town centre, shops & pubs. Staff are great. Toilets recently done up, well liked. A few mention a bit of a trek to facilities or not spotless. Road noise can be heard sometimes. Site still developing, some bits unfinished.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Location to shops, Harvester and Toby pubs. Bus stop within walking distance of campsite. Newly refurbished toilet block. Welcomed by staff and given information on arrival.
Disliked As mentioned in previous reviews the design of the campsite makes it difficult for touring vehicles. The toilet block and Elsan point are situated a considerable distance from the touring pitches with only one set of steps to access them which is a distance from the tourers and not suitable for the disabled or those lacking good mobility. The site information leaflet advises visitors not to walk up the banking to access the facilities. The campsite has a public footpath crossing it and we observed groups of young people on more than one occasion, hanging around the tourers. We felt that security could be an issue. The walk along the river to Worcester was pleasant but the pathway is overgrown in many areas. We found the road noise from the dual carriageway above the site to be constant and very loud. The campsite is in the process of being developed with a large number of empty static vans and empty concrete pitches which resemble a work in progress.

From the manager: Hi Thanks for your review, Yes the static part of the site, Upper level is a work in progress though there is no physical work to take place, roads are laid, infrastructure is complete and bases are laid and everything is clean, we have fully re developed every inch of the site. The touring area is complete. The toilet block is also brand new and complete. There is a designated path to the loo block, Its not a great idea to climb up a bank!
We do not say the toilet block is close to the pitches, it cannot be as the touring area floods out of season , the toilet block is on the higher level.
We have site wide CCTV, electric gates and an on site warden, security has not been an issue.
Thanks
Emma

Liked That the site is open again after a period of closure, location for visiting Worcester.
Nice to see that they are doing something to the fishing swims which haven't been maintained for years.
Disliked Not sure who decided on the changes but whoever it was they aren't campers! The walk to the toilets is ridiculous, why oh why did they remove the steps in the middle! The blue and grey waste points are miles away with the options of having to drive there, walk along the bumpy track or try and carry it up the steps and across the gravel before you reach the tarmac path at the top! Not good if you are getting on in years or disabled. On that point you need to look at the Equality Act 2010 which you have clearly not looked at and are leaving yourselves open to litigation. Whilst they may have had ' grandfather rights' previously they need to comply with the regulations as with any other new build or major refurbishment. The mens toilets now incorporates the washing machines/ dryers which adds to the oppressive heat and the women's toilets houses the washing up areas, whilst both areas are closed off by a separate door it's not ideal and has reduced the showers and toilets to the bare minimum which makes for queues in the morning. Incidentally they weren't cleaned whilst we were there. Hopefully the owners listen to their customers as I am certainly not the first person to raise these issues.

From the manager: Hi
thanks for your review.
We have run campsites for 15 years and are well aware of what people want and need.
Yes you are correct that the length of the toilet block is a walk from the touring field, the bottom level floods out of season, though you can reach them on a level path or steps and all the facilities are easy access.
You are incorrect about the amount of toilets showers needed per pitch we have followed licensing on every aspect, there are more than needed in fact.
The toilets are cleaned every morning and every afternoon
thanks
