What customers say
New-look riverside site near Worcester, with spick and span facilities and helpful staff. A bit of a trek to amenities and steep steps to tourers are the main gripes, plus some road noise. But, the peaceful river setting wins people over.

Liked The toilets are clean and the Toby Carvery Pub is next door to the site just a few minutes walk, which is dog friendly and the staff were golden. Even got our two Staffies a cooked sausage each from the chef.
Disliked The site is not adult only, there are children cycling and running around and people have seasonal pitches there which is “family friendly” and there is a family room at the toilet block. The motor homes and caravans are so close and you dont have any privacy or peace. Directly in front of the few pitches is the public walk way, with people and children going past all day. The steps up to the toilet block are ugly steel, not at all nice to look at. Our 2 friendly dogs were kept on the lead the whole 3 day stay apart from when at the pitch, where they stayed and didn’t move from us. It was far too hot to keep a padded harness on them in the intense heat, which was worrying. A woman, who we learned lives in a seasonal pitches at the Ketch started Effing and Beeing at us because our one dog got up and barked (dogs nature and defences), but she didn’t do anything other than move forward a few feet and bark. The woman was yelling and separating at us shouting get your Effing dog on a lead, My dog is reactive. Other campers were watching most had spoken to us and fussed our dogs.
Within minutes the site owners ambushed us telling us to put our dogs on a lead. We explained the real situation and questioned the site owners if they could see our dogs, and they said no, because our friendly dogs were in the tent lying down. They didn’t stop to thi k who we wrk for or what our jobs are before ambushing us.
We told them, if a woman knows her dog isn’t good with other dogs why is she walking it around a public campsite. Dogs on the site were playing together happily. Our two dogs were on leads the whole time apart from when we were settled at our pitch, which is the only time we took the harnesses off. It was far too hot to leave a padded harnesses on a dog in that intense heat. It would have been cruel and we know our dogs.
The noise from the busy main road and motorway is horrible. It didn’t stop. We heard sirens for 3 days and noisy traffic.
The site is just off a busy main road, although the river is lovely but you do have to walk down to
It to see it.
It’s not like other pretty scenic relaxed campsites. It’s quite different from
Other campsites.
We did meet some nice locals, but that site is not for us. We left a day early.

From the manager: Thank you for your review but we must address the serious inaccuracies in your account.
Our park rules — provided at check‑in and displayed clearly around the site — state that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, including whilst on your pitch. This rule applies to every guest without exception.
Before approaching you, our wardens spoke with several independent witnesses. Their statements were consistent: both of your dogs were off‑lead, ran towards another guest and her dogs (both on leads) while barking, and the guest asked you to put them back on leads. Witnesses also reported that she was met with foul language, and unfortunately the same behaviour occurred when our wardens approached you to remind you of the rules.
Your claim that you were “ambushed” is not accurate. Our wardens approached calmly, after confirming the situation with multiple witnesses, and were met with further abusive language. It was also brought to the wardens attention by witnesses that you had been drinking throughout the afternoon, which may have contributed to the escalation of the incident which took place at around 7.30pm in the evening.
We understand that owners trust their own dogs, but park rules exist to protect everyone — including people using the public footpath, guests with reactive dogs, and other pet owners. These rules are not optional, and they are enforced consistently.
We must also clarify several points raised in your review:
Our touring pitches are adults‑only.
At the time of your stay, there were no children on the seasonal pitches. Any children you saw cycling or walking past would have been using the public footpath, which runs alongside the site and is not part of our touring area.
Our family room is for the use of our guests with mobility issues who require additional space and facilities.
Pitch spacing is fully compliant.
Our touring pitches are over 10 metres wide, and we adhere strictly to all legal spacing requirements. The suggestion that units are “too close together” does not reflect the actual layout or regulations we follow.
Regarding the site layout, public footpath and proximity to the main road: all of these features are clearly stated in our site description. Many guests appreciate the riverside setting and convenient access to Worcester, as reflected in the majority of recent reviews.
We feel this review has been written because you were asked to put your dogs on a lead after breaking the rules. It is also important to provide an accurate and factual account of the events for future guests.

Liked Excellent location. Walk into Worcester next door to Toby carvery BNM Audi and Harvester.
Disliked Shower block. Only one toilet working in the gents. very low depth of shower tray in the gents which meant water went everywhere and nowhere to get dry. My wife told me there was no tray in the ladies showers at all and the water just went down a drain in the next cubicle. Toilet seats were loose almost fell off. Reported it to owner but hadn’t done anything about it when we left. Very unusual laid out shower block. had to go through laundry area to get to gents and the washing up area to get into the ladies. Final note. Shower was controlled by a push button as most are these days but this one have to be repressed every six seconds. Didn’t even come back with hot water. started cold for about a second then returned to normal temperature. Not good at all.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We’re pleased you enjoyed the location and found the nearby amenities convenient.
We would like to address the concerns you raised regarding the shower and toilet facilities.
During your stay, one of the toilets in the gents was temporarily out of order due to a part failure. A replacement part was on order at the time, but unfortunately had not arrived before your departure. The remaining facilities were fully operational.
Regarding the shower layout:
The ladies’ showers are designed with a wet‑room style floor, which is intentional and not a fault. Water drains through the floor drain rather than a tray, which is common in modern accessible washrooms.
The gents’ shower tray is shallow by design, but water should not escape excessively. Works to improve this area is scheduled during our closed season.
The toilet seats you mentioned were tightened shortly after your report — thank you for bringing that to our attention.
As for the push‑button shower controls, these are standard commercial fittings. The timing is set by the manufacturer, but we will review the interval to see if it can be adjusted for improved comfort.
The layout of the building — passing through the laundry area for the gents and the washing‑up area for the ladies — allows us to provide all facilities within one accessible block.
We appreciate your feedback and thank you again for staying with us.

Liked Aspect by the River; we were allowed to park on our pitch in any direction.
Great sized pitch. We had a choice of pitches that were available rather being allocated, which was a lovely gesture.
Easy riverside walk into Worcester
Everything was lovely and Clean and tidy
Peaceful
Friendly and helpful greeting and information from Tanya on arrival and we regularly saw both Tanya and Jim around on site. They are very amenable and willing for you to approach them with any queries or report any needs onsite.
An Aldi, B&M and a Harvester pub (I think), all just outside the main gates so not far to go if you need anything from those places.
Not far off the M5 which is our route to visit my Mum in her carehome in Birmingham, so ideal for us to use the site as a short stay opportunity instead of doing the 7 hour round trip in one day. We stayed 2 nights and would definitely do this site again.
Disliked Nothing I can think of.
Not a dislike, but just to add if it’s important for some people choosing their pitch, that we were closest (at Pitch one to the byway road bridge which had lots of traffic at peak times but did not bother us as it was high up), but it might some people. But site has no control over that.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Jacquie and Colin. We’re delighted that you enjoyed your stay and that the riverside aspect, spacious pitch and flexibility in how you could set up all added to your experience.
It’s lovely to hear that the walk into Worcester, the nearby amenities and the peaceful atmosphere suited your visit, especially during what can be a tiring and emotional trip to see your mum. We’re really pleased the site gave you the chance to unwind and take things at a gentler pace.
It was a pleasure meeting you both, and we’re glad our welcome and regular presence around the site helped you feel comfortable approaching us with anything you needed. We always want guests to feel supported and relaxed during their stay.
Thank you again for your kind words — and for the private message, which meant a great deal to us. We’re so glad the site was a helpful stopover for you, and we’d be very happy to welcome you back whenever you need that peaceful break.
Best wishes,

Liked facilities in the vicinity
Disliked pitched as requested left for a few hours to return with a caravan less than 4 meters away surely invalidating any insurance ,Wardens did pass by and ignored it Not good enough !

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We were really surprised to see a 3 star rating, especially as the four reviews we received just before yours were all 10 stars — including one from a guest staying at the same time as you.
We’re genuinely sorry that you felt there was an issue with the pitch size. All of our pitches are over 10 metres wide, but if anything didn’t seem quite right, we’d have happily sorted it for you straight away. A quick chat as we walked past, or a call using the details provided at check in, would have meant we could fix things there and then.
After checking your booking, we can confirm you were pitched next to a motorhome rather than a caravan.
We really do want every guest to have the best possible experience, and we appreciate your feedback.

Nice peaceful location

Liked Another welcomed stay at this peaceful site with all the facilities that suits my needs .
Nice to notice extra features each time I arrive with a closer grey waste drain and more paving towards the shower block. Was impressed by the staff remembering that I've stayed before and the pitches I prefer. Glad to see seasonal pitches being encouraged to be used by fellow caravanners too.
