We're pleased to hear you found our facilities clean and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere during your stay.

We're sorry to learn about the issues you experienced. Unfortunately, the barking dogs are from neighbouring kennels and are outside of our control, although we do appreciate that it can occasionally be disruptive.

We're also disappointed to hear about the misuse of the water point and the dog mess on the pitch. We work hard to keep the site clean and tidy, and we'll continue to remind guests to use the facilities responsibly and to clean up after their dogs.

We're particularly sorry that you felt our manager was a little off. Those who know Kiki will know she's normally cheerful, welcoming and always goes above and beyond for our guests. On this occasion, she was dealing with an unexpected issue behind the scenes, which may have affected how she came across, but this was very much a one-off and certainly not the standard of hospitality we pride ourselves on.

Thank you again for your honest feedback. We genuinely appreciate it and hope you'll visit us again so we can provide the five-star experience we're known for.

Liked Fantastic. Great site, great pub, great wine (my husband said an excellent pint of ale too) and brilliant food.
Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Peter for your amazing hospitality. Oh and that door!!! How much has that door seen over the centuries. England winning 4-2 was icing on the cake. ❤️

Liked The pub was nice with good food, the pitches were level and very friendly staff. The whole site was very clean.

Disliked Needs more toilets even though you could use the pub ones 24/7 there are only 3 showers. The grass could have done with a cut and the spacing was odd. The howling dogs woke us up several time but that’s not under their control.

We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay and that you found the pub, food, level pitches, friendly staff, and cleanliness of the site to be highlights. It's lovely to hear that these made a positive impression.

Thank you also for your comments regarding the shower facilities and the pitch spacing. We understand that everyone's expectations can differ. Our site currently has three showers for 28 pitches, which exceeds the requirements set by Shropshire Council, but we do appreciate your feedback and are always looking at ways to enhance our guests' experience.

We apologise that the grass wasn't cut before your stay. Unfortunately, our grounds maintenance contractor was unable to attend that week due to sickness, which left us behind schedule. Thankfully, this was a one-off situation and the grass has now been cut.

We're sorry the neighbouring dogs disturbed your sleep. Unfortunately, that is outside of our control, but we have passed your feedback on to the kennel owners.

We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future.

Liked The pitch was good as was the food in the pub couldn't fault it

Disliked Toilet block could maybe a touch cleaner. The radiators were full of dust and behind the door. No signal for phones (only in the pub) made it difficult to book a taxi into bridgnorth but after wandering around the pub outside as it was closed we managed to get one. We be useful for coverage across the site as needed to book our next point of call.

Your comments regarding the dust on the radiators and behind the door have been passed on to our housekeeping team so we can ensure these areas receive extra attention.

Unfortunately, mobile phone coverage in our rural location is outside of our control, although we do provide free Wi-Fi within the pub for guests to use. We understand how frustrating it can be when trying to arrange transport or plan the next stage of your journey, and we appreciate your understanding.
