Non-electric grass motorhome pitch

Liked: The campsite was conveniently on our route from Merseyside to Lincolnshire and next to a great pub with a good atmosphere. The pitches were all level and there was plenty of space for each pitch. The site had no traffic noise.

Disliked: The facilities at the campsite were very limited (only fresh water and a toilet with a cold tap?). £25 is a high price for these facilities. The parking was on grass which was fine in good weather, but could be awkward in the wet. We were woken late at night by a family returning from the pub over the stile and talking loudly, near where we were parked.

Liked: I love the fact it's such a basic campsite and a happy community. We booked our pitch and once we arrived we phoned the chap to let him know of our arrival and that was it. Holiday started right there and then! Thanks for a great stay, we hope to see you next year!

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Location was great, lovey walks from the campsite, and pub just next door. Owner was very friendly and welcoming.

Disliked: Not really their fault but a single toilet room isn’t ideal at peak time, and a sink outside to wash face and brush feet while someone’s doing there business there would be a great idea
