Liked Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and roomy pitches
Disliked Nothing to dislike so long as you are happy with basic facilities (which we were).

Southampton, Hampshire, England
Powered grass and gravel RV campsite
Liked Location was close to the motorway, not far from the ferry terminal in Portsmouth.
Disliked On arrival we found that there was absolutely nobody at the site, no staff and no other campers. It was very dark. There did not appear to be any electric hook up, or if there was, we were not able to find it. We really felt uncomfortable with the isolation of the site and so decided not to stay.

From the manager: We're sorry our site wasn't for you- we do advertise our reception opening hours and advise guests to bring a torch in our listed information. Most of our visitors enjoy our little escape away from the hustle and bustle and street lights, whilst being within walking distance of pubs and shops.
Halesworth, Suffolk, England
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Nice small site with modern facilities. The site is adjacent to a pub on the outskirts of Halesworth with the town centre a 20 minute walk away. Food in the pub was good. Southwold is a short drive away which is a lovely seaside town to have a day out in.
Disliked Nothing

Harleston, Norfolk, England
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Quiet location, good for walking along the nearby long distance footpath (Angles Way) and easy drive to the coast. The self service shop was well stocked. The position right next to the pub, which was open both lunchtime and in the evening for meals, was ideal. The plots were a good size.
Disliked The shower and toilet was a bit shabby, but functional.

Powered gravel travel trailer campsite (pull-thru)
Liked The site is well set out with plenty of room. The toilet blocks are sparkling new. The little shop was handy, as was the take-away and bar. The admin was slightly disorganised, probably due to it being the start of the season, but nothing to spoil the stay.
Disliked You have to purchase a voucher for WiFi.

Santander, Cantabria, Spain
Power optional grass campsite
Liked Very handy for an overnight before catching the Santander ferry. Site is in a quiet spot on a very pretty part of the coast. Supermarket and bars within a 15 minute walk.
Disliked The pitches are narrow, set between trees. Fine for our VW campervan but would be difficult for larger vans.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Big pitches, flat and well marked out. New toilet and shower facilities. Really good area for cycling, with marked cycle routes along quiet roads through pretty villages.
Disliked The WiFi signal was too weak to connect to any of our devices (three different phones and an iPad). I tried at many different times during a one week stay and in different locations on the site but was not able to connect even once.

Woodbridge, Suffolk, England
FHU grass and sand campsite
Liked Really nice site with good facilities. Level pitches. WiFi that worked. Very well placed to visit Sutton Hoo and Woodbridge.
Disliked The only slight negative was that the road that the campsite was on was a bit narrow with fast traffic. It made riding our bikes or walking from the site feel a bit hectic, but not enough to stop us going back again.
