Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely site, with views over Ilfracombe Bay. Clean facilities and peaceful site.
Disliked Not a dislike, just to be aware, the top tiers of the site have a steep walk up. Difficult if your mobility or fitness isn't great.

Liked Lovely small and simple site. Clean facilities and easy to find, as just off the main road. Friendly welcome from the owner, who advised us the best place to pitch as the ground was a little soft.
Disliked Road can be a little noisy but we didn't mind this. Still plenty of birds to listen to instead.

Brockenhurst, Hampshire, England

Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked A fantastic site, with a lot of thought and attention to detail- making a most enjoyable stay. Toilet/shower block spotless, helpful info sheet given on arrival. Excellent link via bus to Cheltenham and Gloucester.
Disliked The only dislike is the constant road noise. If inside a larger motor home, this may not be as noticeable, but in smaller campervan or tent (where spending more time outside) the road noise and local airport is very noticeable. But that's the price you pay for being close to motorway and city!

From the manager: Lisa, thank you so much for your feedback. So sorry you were disturbed with the traffic; we are very much hoping once the section of the cycle path to Gloucester is completed things will settle back down again.
Holmrook, Cumbria, England
Powered cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Very well run site. Shower and toilet block very modern and clean. Owner very helpful and always on hand if needed. Our pitch backed on to the river, where we could sit and listen to it gently running by. There is a pub just across from the site. Highly recommended, we ate there a couple of days. Will definitely return again.
Disliked Nothing!! Some reviews moan about paying 50p for the shower. But they are the best camping showers I've used. More than happy to pay. They also have a 20p hairdryer if needed.
