Liked the peace and quiet of the site was fantastic, lovely views overlooking the countryside
the owner was great, Jane suggested different routes we could take riding our motorbike around the area, and she came to meet us and make sure that we had everything we needed for our stay
Disliked nothing really

Liked Fantastic small campsite.
The showers and toilets were spotlessly clean, lots of hot water, and plenty of space inside to get changed.
Pegs on the wall to hang clean clothes on, a chair and a stool o sit on.
Disliked Nothing really.

Liked peaceful site up in the hills
plenty of space
although there were shower facilities on-site, we don't tend to use them as our caravan is self contained. the waste disposal and fresh water were clearly marked out.
owners were always available if you needed anything, but other than showing us to our pitch and telling us where everything was when we arrived, we were fine for the duration of our stay
signage to the campsite was a little hard to find as it's up in the hills with lots of roads, but that's the main reason we chose this site, for the views and the peace

Liked Nice quiet site overlooking the countryside.
Our spot was marked out when we got there, so were able to set up straight away.
The owner came to see if everything was ok once we had got settled, and that we had everything we needed. There was a shower and toilet facilities on site, but as we were in our camper, we didn't use them.

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (XL)
Liked The site was lovely and clean, and the staff were friendly.
The pitch we had booked was extra large, there was plenty of room for the caravan and van to be parked along-side each other with space to walk around comfortably.
We didn't use the amenity block as we are self contained in the caravan, so can't comment on them.
The site was close to Bala lake, which was only a short walk away, and the town was a 10 minute walk away.

Liked The views from the caravan were fantastic. The site was small but all the pitches had loads of room so you didn't feel crowded at all. Makes a nice change to have so much space.
The owners, Nicky and Julian were very friendly, and helpful.
We found a hidden gem in this site, it was away from the crowded beaches, and so peaceful, it was a shame to come home!
We saw plenty of kites flying over-head, chickens in the paddock and fish in the pool.
Plenty of beaches to drive to, or mountains with resevoirs to enjoy.
We were lucky enough to be there when they held an evening of music in the bar, quite a lot of talent singing and playing guitars etc. A fantastic atmosphere.
We would say to anyone looking for some peace and quiet that this is one place to go to, we will go back again in the future.

Liked The peacefulness of the site and the surrounding area.
The site was fairly quiet when we stayed there, but it was the end of September, so most families had returned home.
We've stayed here a few times now, so I believe that says a lot, to return to the same campsite means it gives us everything we need.
Where we pitch the caravan has beautiful sea views, and there is a lovely walk down to the pond area which we did most evenings.
The site has a shop at the entrance, and they also sell fresh farm eggs.
It is close to many beaches and not far from big stores.
The owners email you with your pitch number and information of the area before you leave home, so you're all set.
We didn't use the shower facilities as we are self contained, so can't comment on these, but the rest of the site is kept clean and tidy.
Disliked I don't think there's anything to dislike with this site.

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The owner welcomed us when we first arrived and told us about the campsite, where we could pitch the caravan to have the best views and what was available etc. The laundry, reception and games blocks were all painted very brightly. Every thing was set out lovely, very clean and tidy. Our pitch was quite level with water, electricity and waste water all close.
The entry had an electronic gate which was nice as nobody could enter the site unless they were staying there.
We did stay when it was very quiet at the later end of the season, but that didn't bother us at all.
On clear days you could see the sea.
The campsite was close to local shops (withing a few driving miles)
If you're looking for a peaceful holiday in great surroundings, this fits the bill.
We would love to go back and visit again in the future.
Disliked There was nothing really to dislike.

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked The layout of the site meant that it was all close at hand. Shower blocks were in the centre, so it was only a short walk away. Waste and re-cycling area close to entrance gate.
The site was lovely, clean and tidy.
There was a waste water drain on our pitch as well as electric and water, which meant there was minimal walking to empty containers, brilliant. Free wifi.
It was very peaceful, and each morning we woke up to the birds and lambs "chatting"
Fantastic views of the surrounding hills from wherever you were parked.
Friendly staff.
An added bonus was the animal barn that you could visit anytime, little food bags that you could purchase to feed the goats and sheep. Fresh eggs to buy too, with an honesty box for the money.
Disliked Nothing really to dislike, the only slight drawback was that the road narrowed in a few places leading up to the site, but otherwise fantastic. We'd go back again.
