Liked Small peaceful site and friendly owner. Electric and water on pitch with spacious grass areas next to the hardstanding pitches. Second time here and will definitely return again as plenty to explore in the area.

Liked Have visited many times, what's not to like about this site! Excellent location and great facilities which look like they were updated since I last visited. The prices are competative and the owner friendly and helpful.

Liked I keep coming back to this idylic location. It may only have minimal facilities but that's more than made up for by the stunning location, vistas and proximity to some of the best landscapes and cycling routes in the Peak District. It is a working farm though ... so bear that in mind.

Liked Our second stay at this great little site. Ideally located for excursions out on the Llyn Peninsular or into the Eryri National Park and close enough to Pwllheli for shopping. The site is exceptionally well run by Mary, has a nice toilet and shower block, water and power adequately distributed around the site and plenty of open grass available for children to play. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on this well maintained site and will definitely return again.

Liked Gravel plus grass pitches with water and electric on pitch. Great location for walking and cycling. Easy access to the Tissington Trail and the Pennine Bridleway for the more adventurous mountain bikers seeking access to Chee Dale and Miller's Dale. Friendly owner who provided a printed local information sheet upon arrival.

Liked Wonderful location for access to the Vale of Edale onand Castleton and nestled above the stunning Winnats Pass. Quiet and peaceful during the week days. No set pitches so free to choose your own.

Disliked Noisy and chaotic on the weekend with someone pitching their tent 3 foot in front of my Motorhome making it difficult to exit the pitch. Although I didn't need the facilities they are clearly woefully insufficient when the site is full.

Liked I keep returning to Chapel Farm as it acts as an ideal base for walking and cycling in the area and has glorious views of the hills from the pitches. It's a small site with minimal facilities on a working farm, so expectations should reflect that. The owners are friendly, and helpful if needed, but generally leave you to your own devices as they are busy people in their own right. My favourite location in the whole of the Peak District!

Liked Great little site with beautiful views in picturesque location. Friendly off site owner who visited daily and clean and functional bathroom and shower. 5 gravel with grass pitches which are nice and level. Local roads are steep and very narrow so would recommend approaching the site from Edge Top Road (Longnor to Flash road). Great location for walks or cycling around the Hollinsclough/Chrome Hill area.

Liked Lovely small site with basic fascilities close to the picturesque coastline at Trefor and an ideal base to explore the Llyn Peninsula. Owner was very friendly and pitches good. We did have an issue getting off the pitch as the ground was so soft, given the season has been a very wet one, but with the kind help of our surrounding neighbours pushing we soon managed. A big thank you to them!

Liked Nice basic site with good views and clean facilities. Large field with plenty of space, field is sloping but managable. Very friendly owners. Easy access to the Cromford Canal and High Peak Trail. Will definitely visit again.

Liked A quiet, peaceful stay with the usual spectacular views from the pitch. Owners always friendly. I keep returning to this idillic gateway to the upper Dove Valley and Hartington.

Liked Scenic bliss. Couldn't ask for a nicer location and the owners are really friendly. Had many stays here and never get tired of it. It's a working farm with limited facilities, but for Motorhomes or Caravans that's not an issue. Walk out of the door and into some of the most beautiful scenery in the Peak District. Great for cycling/mountain biking too.

Liked Another great stay at this picturesquely located campsite. Good clean toilets and showers and friendly owners. Limited hookups available on site but not bookable via Pitchup for some reason. Recommended!

Liked This is a great site with very competative prices. Nice level field and lovely location close to Over Haddon and Monyash and within easy walking distance of the picturesque Lathkill Dale. Friendly owners and clean basic facilities. Showers are great and spacious. Has a no music policy which I particularly liked. Recommended.

Liked As a frequent visitor to this idylic location I knew exactly what to expect ... the bare minimum facilities as prominantly advertised but superb views and access to the surrounding countryside at a great price. The owners are friendly and always helpful should you need it. Barely saw them on this occation though, apart from a wave from a distance. Highly recommended if you have shower/toilet on board, electric hookup available.

No facilities to speak of (showers, toilets etc) and a working farm, but a glorious location, friendly owners, good electric pitches with stunning views and good pricing. I just keep coming back as the beautiful Peak District countryside is literally just a footstep away.

Liked Lovely small quiet site with good clean facilities, lovely showers and well drained flat hardstanding pitches. Friendly helpful owners. The site being small is ideal for children where they can play safely and are never far away. Convieniently located for easy access to Ruthin, Loggerheads Country Park and the Clwydian Range, Alwen resevoir and Llyn Brenig, Llangollen, Betws-y-Coed, Snowdonia and the Welsh coastline. Highly recommended. No television reception, so bring your own entertainment (DVDs, stream via phone hotspot, games, whatever). Phone network reception generally ok but you may need to place devices high up to guarantee uninterupted reception, especially when streaming.

Liked Great site which I visited many times before and keep returning to. Bare essentials only but if that's all your looking for and have toilet/shower facilities onboard then you can't go wrong. Be aware it is a working farm, so you can expect some farm activity. A footstep way from the beauty of the peak district and within easy walking distance to the Dove valley and quaint village of Hartington. Tissington Trial close by too for those interested in cycling. Owners are always friendly and helpful.
