Great site, wonderful owner
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Really warm welcome from Mary, a nice big field where you can find your own spot, good recycling facilities and a beautiful area.
The toilets were basic but adequate, £1 in the shower gets you a long shower
Disliked Phone signal a bit patchy so if you need WiFi or mobile data check your provider first

Liked Very easy to find and a lovely welcome from Mary, very kind lady with lots of local knowledge and advice.
Big wide open site with plenty of space between pitches.
Facilities always clean and well kept, all in all a little gem of a site, hope to go back again.
Disliked Nothing to dislike at all.

Warm welcome, great location 👍

Liked Well presented campsite just off the A499, very reasonable hookup rates, 15 minute drive to Pwithelli, a good selection of camping, caravan and motorhomes during our stay.
Would definitely stay again 👍

Lovely rural location, close to both sea and mountains.
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Pleasant location between the hills and sea. Easy access to site. Very competitive pricing compared with other local sites. Massive pitch which you choose yourself on arrival. Ehu included and water points close to all the pitches. Mary, the owner is so friendly and helpful.
Disliked Having to pay for the shower. £1 buys about 7.5 mins. It's a natural setting and the pitches aren't level so bring your leveling ramps. Close to main road so some traffic noise.

If you had chosen a pitch on the other side they were level.

Great views & location but noisy & toilets need cleaning more often.
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Easy booking, friendly owner, pick your own pitch, great location to get to Pwhelli, Nefyn and Abersoch. Beautiful views and 5 minutes drive from the beach.
Disliked Right on the main road, traffic noise is horrendous and all night long. If you’re a light sleeper this is a problem. This is obvious as soon as you arrive but I hadn’t realised how bad this would be when booking, despite the site description stating it is off the main road. Another niggle was the toilets, they were clean and stocked when we arrived on the Saturday but when leaving on Tuesday they had not been cleaned and the bins were overflowing. The floors were really dirty, not nice having a shower. Not great during a heat wave. I try not to be fussy seeing as though it’s camping but other sites we’ve stayed at are cleaned daily.

Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay, but it does state on Pitchup
that we are on main road.
Toilets are checked and stocked daily.
When site is full the bins will get full, but are emptied daily.

Great site, good location for visiting Snowdon!
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Toilets were exceptional clean and was a clean wash facility
Electric hookups were good and water taps dotted around the site
Disliked Unfortunately I couldn't get hot water out the sink for washing up, however there was a kettle provided so I could heat water that way
Bare in mind you could hear some road noise due to the location however that is
Shame you have to pay for showers when you've paid for the site (Other cheaper sites include showers)

From the manager: Thank you for your review.
Tried the hot water tonight and it worked ok.
The showers - The site is on a water meter and you get 3 to 4 minutes
of shower for 20p. for the £1 you get 5 times that.
