Primitive grass tent campsite (two person)
Liked You could camp where you wanted to suit your group. Location and scenery backdrop to site. Large toilet and shower block. Liked the ice cream van visit and pizza bus.
Disliked Unfortunately both nights had cannabis wafting into our tent- although we told security we were not able to locate the offenders.
Also potentially down to people staying there I felt the showers/toilets were not as clean as I hoped.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. The entrance to the lower field is a little steep which is why we recommend cars only in that area. We are usually able to offer a pitch on the upper field or in the wild flower meadows as an alternative

Power optional grass campsite
Liked Location, price and you could camp wherever
Disliked Very disorganised owner, wasn't expecting us, had we booked, showed him email but still checked with his son via phone couldn't find his bit of paper then did and we were on it. Next day came round to ask if we had found £50 that he had lost the previous night!
Very rough and ready set up with defunct caravans in long grass.
If there were washing up facilities we didn't find them!

From the manager: Hi Karen, Thanks for the feedback :-) I understand you arrived on a bank holiday weekend, which was very busy for us. I can only apologise if it appeared disorganised. We are learning. The caravans you refer to are painted in bright colours and are used as props for our festival. They are not located on the campsite (and the campsite grass is mowed regularly). Your review is misleading in this regard so I wanted to clarify that. That said, we will look to move the caravans if they are causing offence :-) Thanks again.
