Liked Spacious pitch, beautiful site

Disliked No toilet roll, hand soup or blue roll to dry hands pretty much the whole weekend. Cleaner came and still didn't stock up. Pheasant shooting happening during the day absolutely terrified our dog. Rang the owners to politely ask if they knew when it would end so we could take him away for a bit, said they couldn't hear it (no way possible it was so loud) and they would find out and call back but never did.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to write a review. The toilets are cleaned and restocked daily. Iam not quite sure how they had ran out. Iam quite confused regarding the claims of pheasant shooting going off. Game shooting is out off season so this can not be true. If you look on the BASC website this will give you the dates of shooting season. This might be useful for you and your dog. Unfortunately when you visit the country side especially where we are in a very rural area you will come across different noises ,smells and a total different environment than other areas. Some people enjoy it and unfortunately some don’t.

Liked Peaceful and quiet, lovely views, very friendly staff, water was frozen and they made a point of coming to apologise and provide some (despite it not being their fault, it was -5!!)

Liked Great location, perfect for adults only. No hassle and was able to play music without disturbing anyone. Really well priced.
