What customers say
Amazing views and a tranquil, no-frills wild camping spot. Toilets and showers usually clean. Great for Peak District hikes, with a pub nearby. Some found pitches sloped and showers busy. Occasional noise from other campers.

Wonderful. How camping should be.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Easy, simple, perfect - how camping with a tent should be.
It was safe and unfussy - just a field in a system of dry stone-walled fields full of skylarks. Pitch anywhere. Loved it.
Disliked Everything was exceptionally good in my opinion.

Excellent site will revisit.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Very spacious area, no specific pitches set out, grass parking. For a wild campsite, the toilets and wash areas were very good and clean. A local pub was about a 20 minute walk away. Very peaceful even though the site was quite popular.
Disliked No hook up or WiFi but exactly what you would expect for a wild campsite.
