A secure coded entrance with electric gate is a nice first impression on arrival. The hardstanding pitch is long enough to reverse your car in front of your awning and wide enough for a large awning. It is great that there is a cafe on site that opens 9am to 2pm each day.

A little disingenuous to offer service pitches when only the even number pitches have the electric point and water connection.If you are allocated an odd numbered pitch your hose pipe probably won't reach the water tap as it is located on the even pitch next door. Also the waste water on the pitch is drained to the field behind the site. There is no built in drainage on each pitch. The new toilet block is not yet completed so 2 toilet traps and 1 shower for the gents at present. They were a little tired and unloved to put it nicely. Roll on the new toilet block.

Absolutely had the best night felt so at ease, I have struggled since a child who was baught up in care all my life and witnessed my mums suicide at age 6, I'm registered disabled with severe anxiety and depression and fibromyalgia and live everyday even now having grown up by myself no parents siblings not interested as split up young, I've 5 children younest is 6 mo ths and this has honestly made me feel so at ease and safe during the night I've always suffered staying out due to trauma and I felt really at home thank you so much

Maybe the gate could have been a little taller being in a city it crossed my mind on wether it wad easily accessible to outsiders to the site

facilities were clean and the small campsite was ideal for the kids

Could do with better and more showers however it appeared there are in the process of building more

Lovely little campsite. Toilets/showers very clean.
Lovely warm welcome from reception and shown round to pitch which was very spacious.

Water at washing up area not very warm, so struggled to get pots clean

Not too large, quiet and very clean. Easy entry and exit. Although we arrived late and away early there is a cafe in site. Perfect for us a stop and go site. Would definitely use it again.

Small site, tidy and quiet. Close to our relatives in Neston. Easy access for visiting Chester and other areas.
Lovely cafe on site and well stocked pet shop (we have 2 dogs so was of interest to us.).

We were staying for a week. Could have done with a little shop to buy essentials like milk.
The toilet block wasn’t great, only one shower. There were workmen living in caravans on site and they left the men’s toilets in a bit of a mess. It looked like a new toilet block is being made which is a good idea.

Nice large pitch close to attractions including Chester and Cheshire oaks. Had water facilities and electric which was 16 amps which worked well compared to some sites.

The bathrooms wasn’t the cleanest, I know it’s a camping toilet bit have been on much cleaner sites. Also the owners didn’t communicate in person at all didn’t feel very welcome had a voice mail at 6:30am on the day of arrival and nothing else. Road was a little noisy and could hear the traffic got used to it after awhile and didn’t impact too much.
