The location was perfect. Access to the lake, cycle hire and close to many bars and restaurants. The cycle lanes are right outside the site and lead around the perimeter of the lake - 43km of tarmacked, flat paths. Gorgeous!
The young girls and boys who work on the site spoke English and were friendly . The site shop stocked fresh bread in the morning and a small selection of fruit.

The electric pitches are undesignated, so there is little room and you need a long lead to get to electric points. The electric is only 3 amp so cuts out often. We recommend putting your roll-out awning up to ensure nobody parks alongside you when you're out.
The facilities are few, but in good condition in the first and second block.

The location

Literally nothing else! What a joke! Traffic forced us to arrive after the agreed time so emailed ahead to relay this. Response was that this was ok and no problem. Arrived, told to follow the campsite map round to a pitch that didn’t exist and had no electric hook up! There was no room for our motor home pre paid and booked three weeks earlier!?? We were definitely not the only ones this happened to!!! Ended up staying in the car park attached to the site for two nights.

The friendly helpful staff, the proximity to the lake , the free bus to Annecy and the nice big pitches. It was peaceful and very scenic.

The toilets and shower blocks should Be demolished and rebuilt.

Location to the lake is amazingly close. Plenty of like-minded active people in the area.

Location to a lovely bar is literally at the bottom of the campsite which can be heard on the weekends. Really enjoyable singers/entertainment and dancing along with a backdrop of the beautiful Lake Annecy!

Electric was inconsistent, although at 6amp I suspect other campers were overloading their supply causing a site-wide electric power cut.

Showers weren't modern and used only a metal pull chain to keep the water flow. There is one decent shower in the men's shower block although this becomes well known with both men and women, so you might just have to use the pull chain versions.

Toilets have no soap.

Washing up facilities lack a light in the evening.

Electricity was rubbish, 3 amp and tripped often even with a camping kettle. Small plot for a 7.5 m vehicle, crammed in. Showers toilets not nice, very old. Wi-Fi not working on our pitch.

Pitches very close together. Electricity worked intermittently - cables going across roads, paths, through pitches, etc. No lights in the toilet block or washing up area. Showers very old - had to old chain in one for water to come out.

Dispite the reviews we hada lovely stay. Yes the toilets and showers were outdated and needed lights, yes we were given a pitch that belonged to someone else but aside from that the location was brilliant and I was pleasently suprised given the reviews I had read.

The location was excellent with incredibly close access to the lake with a lovely grassy area to lay a towel out. Great lakeside snacks and gorgeous restaurant. The cycle track access directly out of the site which circumnavigates the lake was a particular favourite.

On site wash facilities (toilets, showers and washing up) are dated and not particularly pleasant to use, although functional. The electricity kept dropping out which was an inconvenience although it did eventually get sorted.

Campsite is on the shore of lake, lake is just amazing - very warm and clean.
There is no allocated pitches, can choose where you want to park.
