Brilliant site with great facilities.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked We had an absolutely wonderful time at Hideaway Escapes. Everyone was so friendly and really helpful. Brilliant facilities, including fridge and freezer use.
We loved seeing the animals at the site. The shop had everything that we needed and was reasonably priced.
Will definitely be back!

Burrows bell tent
Liked Hideaway escapes was our favourite site so far. The family who run the farm were very friendly and approachable. We had a lovely warm welcome, and the rubber duck treasure hunt set for our little boys was throughly enjoyed by all.
We stayed at the wood love yurt which was very Cosey and had everything we needed.
My little boys loved running around and checking up on the animals. Omlette the emu was their absolute favourite. We will definitely be returning guests.
Disliked Leaving to go home. Would’ve loved to do more than one night.

Liked The privacy and spaciousness of the pitches. The toilets and showers were very clean.
Disliked The lights in the toilets and showers didn't provide much light. The track to the campsite is full of big pot holes.
Clean facilities, good location and amazing woodland pitch
Bluebell Woodland power optional forest floor tent campsite (secluded)
Liked We booked the bluebell woodland pitch and it was incredibly spacious. We loved the fire pit and it comes with a tripod BBQ to cook over the fire. The bench was handy too. The animals there are well cared for and friendly. The honesty shop is useful selling logs and other essentials. We were already booking our next visit before we had even left.
Disliked Was slightly disappointed to find no gazebo on the woodland pitch as it is advertised on the photos when booking.
Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff and a family feel
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Had a lovely time on the campsite. It had a really family friendly feel and the owners have gone out of their way to make it accessible to first-time campers and families. There are fridges and freezers available to use, included in the camping cost. There's no charge for the showers. There's a duck hunt, a playground and animals all on site so plenty to keep the kids entertained. It felt like a lovely place just to sit around and hang out.
There was an incident with another camper (drunk and loud) and the staff dealt with it really quickly and decisively and were really communicative as well, despite it being past 9pm.
An excellent place, and I'd recommend it for people like us who are just learning how to go camping. Very supportive.
Disliked Nothing.

Powered grass tent campsite
Liked Lesley (the owner) was amazing, she made us feel so welcome and went out of her way to ensure we had a great holiday. The site is well maintained and eco friendly with composting toilets and solar uses where possible. There are lovely views over the Welsh hills and woodland full of wildlife. The domestic animals are friendly and very entertaining and most are very happy to fed treats. Some of the animals are very familiar to us Brits while others are a little more exotic, which adds to the charm of Hideaway Escapes. There is a well stocked onsite shop with all the essentials and treats for the animals. The local town is also a lovely place to spend time. It is close to the site with plenty of pubs a pretty good chip shop and an excellent butchers.
All in all a lovely holiday and we will be returning in the future.
Great stay and great staff Brilliant location for beaches
Powered grass tent campsite
Liked Beautiful location and extremely quiet
Great attention to small details like the wasp traps, the honesty shop and the animals on site
Every where was kept beautifully clean and Sarah was great
Disliked This was not a dislike just a comment that the showers could do with being updated as there wasn’t hot water in all the sinks and sometimes the showers didn’t work
Not a problem when we stayed as there was only us on site and We could just move onto one of the other 3
Excellent site with very attentive staff and facilities
Powered grass tent campsite
Liked This was our second stay at hideaway and it is going to be a yearly thing. The campsite is so well kept and clean and tidy, there's something there for everyone. The stsff go above and beyond to make your stay as smooth as possible they are so so friendly and welcoming. We love it here and so do our young children. Thank you for another lovely stay.
