Little Haven Campsite is a small, friendly, secluded family campsite in a hidden location with a lot of wildlife. The five-acre level camping field is set less than a mile from the coast and hidden from view, up a winding track past our duck pond and woods. It's sheltered by hedgerows, and surrounded by meadow and wildlife scrubland with views of pasture farmland, St Davids Head and glimpses of the sea. On a clear night the sky is filled with stars. Small campfires are allowed on site for sitting around and soaking up the night sky. Facilities include two shower/toilet washrooms and one toilet washroom, three flush toilets, a fresh drinking water supply, a washing-up point and a disposal point for chemical toilets.

Route directions

Driving from Haverfordwest take the Broad Haven road (B4341). As you pass through Broadway there is a signposted turning left to Little Haven situated on a sharp corner. Take this turning and continue down this narrow road to the very bottom of the hill. On the bend in the road you will see the sign to . Turn left up a winding gravel track past a pond and after the small woodland turn left again up into the campsite field.

Local attractions

The site is a 10-minute walk or two-minute drive to the fishing village of Little Haven and the sandy beaches of Broad Haven and Little Haven. Here you can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for walks, enjoy the beaches which are perfect for swimming and find the local shop with freshly baked bread and all the necessary provisions. Cafés, horse riding, surfing, kayaking and other watersports, as well as parking facilities and family-friendly pubs are all nearby. There are many other beautiful beaches to explore close by including Druidstone, St Brides, Musslewick and Marloe's beaches, and Newgale's three miles of golden sand. Other activities include visiting various castles, St Davids Cathedral, Skomer and Ramsey islands. These are all along and off the coastline of St Bride’s Bay and within a short driving distance from the site.
