What customers say
Great location, clean amenities, friendly staff. Well-kept grounds, good pitches, nice on-site bar/restaurant. Popular spa/pool. Some wish for more showers/toilets at peak times, occasional Wi-Fi issues, and higher facility costs. Some noise/not ideal for very young kids. Many want to return.

Lovely area but not the best site!

Liked Location was in a beautiful area with lovely walks and beautiful views. We were also able to bring our dogs which was lovely.
Disliked Service at the bar/restaurant is terrible. There is a young girl working there who works so hard but the others were standing talking while she was running around like a headless chicken. Went for food on Sunday at 130pm and waited 30 minutes to be told they'd run out of food.. then they decided they could serve us and we waited another 20 minutes and they hadn't even taken our order so we left. Very poor service. It also states there is a shop on site, however, it is not a shop - there are a few products you can purchase at the reception and it is very minimal. We also had to pay £40 to use the pool which i think is bonkers considering we paid to stay on site.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a lovely site.

Liked The toilet facilities were immaculate and the staff very friendly.
Disliked Recycling could be improved. Only card/paper, glass and general waste available so no facility for cans or plastic.
Also, facilities are expensive; outdoor pool not in use and £10 per person to use indoor pool inc. children. (We went for a swim in the river instead as it was low and slow running 😉)
