What customers say
This is a friendly, family-run campground with spacious, level sites. Guests often rave about the clean, modern facilities, especially the showers. The small on-site shop is handy for essentials and treats. While many highlight the peaceful atmosphere and great location for exploring Cornwall, some mention occasional noise from a nearby airbase and spotty WiFi. Owners are consistently described as welcoming and helpful.

Estancia agradable en nuestra ruta
Primitive grass campsite

Great, Small family run site, definitely worth visiting. 😊
Powered grass campsite (medium)
Liked We’re on our last night here, we’ve even stayed an extra night, and wish we could stay longer!! Lovely site, the kids have loved it. The family that run the site are so friendly, and welcoming, and go out of their way to make you feel at home!💗
The pitch sizes are generous, plenty of extra room for the kids to play.
Great little shop as well, with lovely home made cakes.
Will definitely be coming back, thanks for looking after us on our first family camping trip. Can’t wait to come back.
Disliked Don’t want to go home.😢 wish we’d have booked for 2 weeks.

Excellent
Powered grass campsite (medium)
Liked Lovely greet and meet on arrival I believe it's a family run site and seems very friendly, I was escorted to my pitch which was a lovely size with a good up to date hook up , the facilities are lovely smelling really nice and clean as well great showers good washing up area .
On site shop which I didn't really need but tea and coffee available.
the site is well maintained and quiet.
Disliked The fridges where not working

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely review and a new fridge is now up and running
Decent location for visiting nearby locations. Cleanliness lacking.
Powered grass campsite (medium)
Liked Large spacious pitch with electric and water point close by. The small shop had all the basics required with local meat available.
Good location for visiting nearby beaches and the lizard peninsula (by car most places 20 mins).
Bus stops nearby (<30/35 minute walk).
Shower facilities were decent with enough space within the cubicles.
Disliked Right next to an airbase so intermittent helicopters.
WiFi was shocking - constant dropping in and out.
Facilities were not cleaned all week of stay despite plaque stating facilities are regularly cleaned.
Concern would be the facilities to be insufficient size if the campsite is to be full - only 2 sinks, 3 toilets and 3 showers.

From the manager: I would like to put some things straight on this review- the toilets and shower block are cleaned at least once a day, sometimes twice a day and checked more regularly as other reviews for the same time as your visit have mentioned. There are 2 sinks, 3 toilets, 2 urinals and 3 showers in the mens, more in the womens and then a disabled and family bathroom so plenty of facilities for everyone. The wifi can be patch on some of the site- if this was of importance to you we could have moved you to a better pitch.

Nice spacing between pitches
Good WiFi cover
Lovely campsite owners
Disliked Showers do not stay on, they stay on for 1 minute, then go off, so you have to press it on constantly or, try and hold the button down.
