What customers say
A popular family spot with ample space and activities. Staff are praised for friendliness, food's good, and adventure options are a hit. Some note shower pressure quirks, occasional washroom tidiness issues, and camper noise. It can get busy, and some amenities are seasonal.

Liked The showers were clean, sadly someone had smeared poo all over the toilets and walls in the ladies one night! bar area lovely, nice walks for the children, friendly staff.
Disliked Pitches felt close together, the sign says no noise 10:30pm-7:30am but the noise level was awful until 3am! My daughter got 45 mins sleep because there was so much shouting right by our tent! Also a lot of rude families, that’s not the parks fault but it dampened the stay sadly 😔

Would go again! Toilets are great despite the hot water and bog roll
Primitive grass campsite
Liked We had 7 pitches (non electric) as we were on a group break. Each was spacious and mostly clearly labelled. When cleaned, the bathroom was great -well lit, clean and stocked. The disabled loo with shower was handy for those with small ones and access needs. Drinking water available. Washing area was sufficient and clean. Great a activities. Nice walk around the lake. Helpful wardens. We didn't enquire about WiFi and didn't need.
Disliked 1.Toilet roll ran out in the evening and not replenished till morning
2. Hot water inconsistent in the mornings, you have to get there before it all runs out I think
3. We explained we were a group of 7 and wanted to be pitched together. We were. But it would have made sense to put us together in a less than a crowded space (there was plenty available),I think we disturbed other campers once.

All round very good just needs a bit of TLC

Liked The pitch was great we were one of only four large tents in the Safari Tent Field. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the entertainment on Saturday night. Nice large field where children could play safely.
Disliked Only 4 toilets in the toilet block and being used by 3 fields. Water pressure very low and hard to wash up especially in the mornings.

Has gone downhill.

Liked The restaurant and bar.
Disliked The toilets and showers. Hand driers didn’t work, never any toilet rolls and were only cleaned every other day.
No activities now. 3 years ago you could do the high rope course, archery, quad bikes and shooting range. Now only clay pigeon shooting and crazy golf is available. The site was beautiful but now is dirty and not maintained. Such a shame

Liked The showers/toilets are soo clean. The restaurant and staff lovely. Gorgeous surroundings we saw barn owl hunting in the fields near by!
Disliked There were some very noisy neighbouring campers but that’s not marwells fault. We were also noisy and having fun but toned it down by 10, they carried on until gone 1am which was a little annoying

Disliked Tolets not always clean not a lot to do there as most was closed or cancelled WiFi and signal was no existent

Would stay again with bigger group but would prefer to pick the pitch.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Staff were very friendly and polite. Facilities were kept clean
Disliked I prefer to pick my own pitch and not be allocated, the pitch we had was right in the open I prefer to have a mix of sun and shade but only had sun constantly as a result the fridge we had struggled as no shade for tent at all. Also the toilets seemed to run out to toilet paper regularly. Male showers when in use became very slippery I nearly fell over twice.
