Powered grass campsite
Liked The staff on reception were really friendly and welcoming when we arrived. We were allocated one of the larger pitches in the corner by the entrance. At first we thought we'd been given one of the less desirable pitches, but it actually turned out to be a blessing. It was quieter than the main camping area and gave us plenty of space.
The location is also good. It's close to Bournemouth and the surrounding beaches, although because of the dual carriageway you do have to drive up and back down it to get to most places.
Disliked Unfortunately, the site itself is looking quite tired. The toilet and shower blocks are in need of a major refurbishment and, during our stay, they weren't being cleaned to the standard we'd expect. The bins around the site were overflowing and looked like they hadn't been emptied for some time, which wasn't a great first impression.
The shop was also disappointing, as it seemed to be closed for most of our stay The bar was another downside. It stayed open much later than the advertised closing time, and the noise carried across the site well into the evening, which wasn't ideal if you were trying to relax or get an early night's sleep.

Nice location. Electric pitches.…
Powered grass campsite
Liked Nice location. Electric pitches.
Disliked Unfortunately when we visited the park was in a run down state. Over the 3 days we were there the hand soap was never refilled in the women’s toilets, there was never any toilet roll and the showers were dirty. There was a lot of loud groups on site causing others to leave in the middle of the night and cutting their stays short. The pool was gritty and the small pool wasn’t even in action. The shop had minimal to no stock.

Disliked Absolutely terrible place
If you are respectful DO NOT book here
Shamba is in administration, the shower blocks are grim and dirty
There was a very high percentage of pitches that thought it was ok to use foul language, smoke weed, have large fire pits to keep warm as they partyed through the night.
Approach staff and answer was yes thats what you get when you come here
Respectful families were packing up and leaving as couldn't put up with the noise and intimidation. Families were saying their kids were frightened
Pitch up states no dangerous dogs plus some additional breeds. We saw breeds that shouldn't be there but the park said all dogs are welcome dont take no notice of pitch up
