Primitive cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked The welcome when we arrived at Ocknell was extremely warm, welcoming and friendly. The site is spacious with plenty of room for pitches of all types and sizes. We loved the fact that the New Forest wildlife (ponies, cows, deer etc.) are free to wander in and out at their own leisure so you never know what to expect when you look outside. Access is very easy just off the A31. We went there with our grandchildren who loved being able to ride their bikes is safety along wide roadways. For us it was a perfect place to camp and have already recommended to friends and will continue to do so.

Primitive cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely campsite in New Forest with basic but clean toilet and washing up facilities. Easy to pitch where you like. Bit of road noise from nearby main road but otherwise peaceful and relaxing. Easy walks directly from site. Few nice pubs short drive away.

Disliked Very rocky ground
Odd how have large toilet block with hot water but not put any showers in, even if then charged for using showers would be amazing.
