What customers say
This is a peaceful, well-maintained site, praised for its friendly, helpful owner, Margaret. Pitches are generally level and spacious with essential amenities. Facilities are clean but basic/dated with limited showers. Ideal for quiet breaks, it's conveniently located near the M6 and Lake District, though dog walking areas are limited. Some guests experienced booking issues.

For location, value for money, cleanliness and pitch excellent
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Beautiful quiet site owned and managed to a high standard.
There are only five touring pitches, the remainder are seasonal touring pitches. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Each pitch is a good size with level hard standing, with your own water tap and EHU point. Rates are competitively priced for somewhere so close to the lakes.
Disliked Only slightly negative point is there is only one shower for men and one for ladies. This would be okay if it was just the five touring pitches using them but the more permanent residents use them too.
