What customers say
Great for a quiet, adult getaway. Spacious pitches with hook-ups. Friendly owner, clean (if basic) facilities. Handy for the Lakes, near M6. Might lack on-site extras like dog walks. Best for self-sufficient rigs.

Liked Margaret was very welcoming and helpful. Great location to get to off the M6 and A66. Could quickly get to Ullswater, Keswick and Reghed from the site. Local amenities a short journey away at Penrith.

The site was tidy .
Was fine for one overnight stay.
Disliked No personal contact from owner just a phone call asking us to go to her house to pay.
No off lead dog walking. Only walks on nearby , quite busy roads.
No shops or pubs within walking distance.
Was difficult to access with a large motorhome on narrow country roads

Great for peace and quiet, get away for a relaxing holiday
Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked WOW..... What a great site for adults. Margaret greeted us when we arrived. We pitched our caravan in a lovely spot. Water, electric and waste drain all on our hard standing pitch. Bit of a slope but we coped. Toilets and showers were lovely and clean. The regulars were very friendly and helped us to put up our awning. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely views. Got to mention the robotic grass mower,
