What customers say
A welcoming, tidy spot with ample space and spot-on clean amenities. Thoughtful touches like free toiletries, tea, and coffee are a bonus. Great for a stopover near the M6. Minor road noise & dated bits noted, but overall a big thumbs-up.

Good location for overnight stay
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Close to motorway for overnight stop. Pitches arranged in a circular pattern with tents in the middle. Hot showers, extra toiletries provided. Quick check in. Good bus service so popped into Gretna green and retail outlet.
Disliked From about 8pm late arrivals wanting grass non electric pitches we’re driving in between our pitch and our neighbours. Not adhering to any specific speed rules and were also driving over our electric cables. one in a transit van (there were a few of these) kept letting his dogs roam off lead all over the site. Not happy when they kept coming over to our dog who was pegged outside our van .No picking up poo from him either.

From the manager: Hi,
We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the check in process, extra homely touches and proximity to areas to visit.
We are however, so sorry to hear that other guests affected your stay. This is something we do try to stay on top of and do request specific routes to pitching spaces. We are sorry this was not followed.
Dogs should always be on a lead onsite and we do have an area at the back specifically for those wishing to exercise their furry friends. We do our best to speak to dog owners and will continue to do so to ensure that loose dogs do not affect others.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review and we hope you will still consider us again in the future!

Great place on the Border
Powered grass campsite
Liked We arrived fairly early so had choice of a nice pitch, really lovely looking park. The kids enjoyed the swings and some nice touches in the utility room and bathrooms. Really warm welcome too. A nice stay for our couple of nights away. It seemed a lot stayed as a stop off for the night, but we enjoyed our few days here.
