What customers say
A clean, well-kept farm campsite with spacious pitches and helpful staff like Rachael. Enjoy fire pits, nearby beaches, and farm animals. Facilities are modern but watch for occasional toilet paper or hot water issues.

Liked Rachael was amazing! So helpful and kind.
The campsite was lovely, the pitch was spacious and well kept. Facilities were nice. Lots of space for the dog, the children loved the animals too. We had the best time and didn't want to leave!
Disliked Nothing.

Liked Fire pit included.
Quite campsite.
Disliked Not enough toilets and showers. Facilities not cleaned enough. Unisex showers and toilets are a very bad idea.
Washing up area next to the bins and cows shed.
Fridge was in a very bad condition, not really owners fault but because of the campers not taking care while using it.

From the manager: Regarding your review
Showers and toilets are cleaned everyday to a high standard by myself, before booking it states that we have unisex showers and toilets, having these means we are able to cater to everyone.
It also states that we are located on a working farm, so cows and farm buildings are to be expected.
If you had discussed with me any of this during your stay i would have been able to address any issues you may have had.
All guests receive the same level of customer service from myself, before arrival, on arrival and during there stay.
I would personally suggest reading further into a site before booking it, as all of the above is stated before booking.
Kind regards,
Rachael

Liked Such a wonderful campsite with amazing owner who looked after the site to such a high standard. From the minute we got to the site we were given details of everything locally and further afield to do while there. The facilities are to a high standard and electric hook up for our tent was excellent. Our needs were met completely. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back.

We felt well looked after and nothing was to much bother.

Liked Firstly we were camping during storm Floris, the lady who runs the campsite, was great with advice and even drove around before she went to bed checking that we were all okay, the same in the morning, she regularly checked in with the campers.
The exercise field for dogs was good and clearly marked, the toliets and showers warm and a basic standard of cleanliness though out the whole trip.
It was a quite camping site with various sections no more than about 20-25 tents in 1 area.
There was plenty for space on the pitches as well as firepits on all pitches.
All the communal areas close together so not far to walk.
Disliked Personally feel like the shower and toliets need a good deep clean, it wasn't awful by any means but the dirty finger prints had remained in the same place all week.
The horse and Alpacas field has a lot of ragwort and dropping in. As a previous owner this was a concern but wouldnt be an issue to others.

The showers and toilets are cleaned daily, during busy periods its not possible for me to deep clean the showers and toilets as i have a constant amount of guests coming in and out and using them. They are deep cleaned in quiet periods.
All our animals are well cared for and extremely well looked after, the animals get moved regularly out of the field so we can clear the area for them to go back in.
If you had mentioned your concern for my animals, i would have been able to inform you of this.
Thanks Rachael
Really good option to stay
Camping pod
Liked We stayed in a camping pod which was really comfortable: good mattresses, sockets available, clean and tidy. Amazing private area around with everything needed: shelter, bench and BBQ grill. Toilets&showers are close to the site.
Disliked Pressure in all taps are too high - water was going everywhere. Showers could have been cleaner.

Showers and toilets are cleaned everyday to a high standard, Mops are provided outside the showers and toilets for guests to mop up after themselves during the night and throughout the day after showering, i unfortunately cant mop and clean up after every guest each time the shower rooms are used.
The pressure in all the taps are set to standard.
We hope you enjoyed your stay with us
Thanks Rachael

Liked The campsite and toilets/showers were clean. The pitch we had was quiet, so peaceful after a long day of hiking the mountains. The campsite had everything you needed if you forgot something. Large pitch was perfect for us! As we do like our own space

Great camp and staff.

Liked Clean site, clean showers & toilets etc.
The young lady who does reception, delivers wood, shows people to pinches etc etc works really hard to make your stay enjoyable and always tries to accommodate where shf can. A great asset to the campsite.
Disliked Bins a bit too close to the washing up sinks, as when its hot you can smell them a bit whilst washing up.
