All in all great location, great hosts and good pitch area
Powered grass campsite
Liked Easy check inn Anne the warden came to explain everything and the pitch size was good and flat
Great location next to a pub and nice riverside walk
Driving range on site £1 for 15 balls. Anne’s husband Mark kindly lent us some clubs to play with
Disliked Initial thoughts on the drive in was that the pitch site wasn’t very scenic but any bad thoughts soon disappeared

Liked The area it was in. Close to river for lovely summer walks. Close to a pub which served great food.
The warden was lovely and helpful.
Didn’t feel like we were being watched and children could play freely without having to be told off.
Disliked Site is a little small for young children wanting to run and play football.
The area surrounding needs some tlc.
No toilets but we knew this when we booked.

You get what you pay for! Wardens are fab and always ready to help!
Powered grass campsite
Liked Easy to navigate
Super friendly and helpful wardens
Facilities spot on as advertised
Very quiet
Hadn't camped in 8 years or so and was offered plenty of help by the brilliant wardens, but wanted to make sure I could do it alone. An absolute credit to the site, everything you need, just bring your own loo and washbowl! No bother!!
Disliked Nothing tbh, wardens explained and repeatedly apologised for a resident, but he was in corner with a van in front so I saw nothing and tbh he made no fuss or bother so didnt affect our stay.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely Park, quiet and relaxing. Easy to book in. Close to river for lovely walks, with Pub at the end near the bridge which does great food.
Plenty of room.

Perfect stopover site. Need your own facilities.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked A lovely quiet little site with plans to be much bigger. As stated in the description there are no toilets or showers (yet) but there is water and a chemical point. Annie & Mark are lovely people and very helpful. Rabbits and foxes play at night, birds populate the surrounding trees and there is a river walk right next door so nature is all around. The pub is 2 minutes on foot, and sits on the river. The access is via a golf range, but it's signposted on the main road and the track is level. Although close to a main road the trees baffle most noise so its very peaceful. As a solo traveller, en route North, I felt perfectly safe and will come back next time I pass this way.
Disliked Nothing really!! It's a work in progress.
