What customers say
Spacious, level pitches with great country views. Staff are friendly & helpful, restaurant/bar is good value. Lots of charming farm animals. Washrooms are generally clean but dated; some mention capacity/maintenance issues during refurbishment. Overall, a highly positive stay with many wanting to return.

Great site & lovely staff
Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Staff were lovely & very helpful. The site is spot on & not over crowded. Would definitely visit again.
Disliked Grass could do with a little cut as was very damp. Also electric hook up is to far from some of the pitches

Nice relaxing site. Very welcoming
Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Owners and the staff are very friendly. We had a relaxing weekend. We ate at the cafe and the food was lovely. Toilets are clean and nice. Nice little bar area and seating outside. I couldn’t get my car to start and they came and helped me to get it running. I was so happy!
Disliked Small washing up area. This is a new site so I’m not complaining. We just waited our turn. There’s nothing I didn’t like.

100% will come again. One of my favourite campsites so far
Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked This is what a campsite should be. Even on a bank holiday weekend very spacious pitches, really nice views...& had a general nature feel.
There is an onsite cafe, bar with very nice outdoor decking and tables too. We didn't try the food so can't review that but having the ability to have a draught pint if you run low on your beer at the pitch is a nice addition.
Facilities were new and modern too. Whats not like

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked This was a lovely site with everything we needed as tent campers. All the staff are wonderful and work really hard to keep everything running smoothly. The facilities are clean and really well maintained and we appreciated the on going attention to detail. This site is in a beautiful part of Northumberland with the sound of lambs bleating, owls hooting and even a cuckoo as our backdrop. We will definitely be back

Liked Arrived midweek, so had run of the place. New owners, so they're in process of refreshing the site. Check in was no issue, grabbed a fire basket (they sell wood also). Plenty of hot water for showers and they were spotlessly clean too....
Disliked Nothing really, not alot to do around the site.... But cafe and bar on site.

Excellent site, stunning views, great facilities
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Stayed here for one night and will definitely be returning! The owners were so lovely and welcoming, they even offered to go to the shop for us to get marshmallows!! The views are absolutely breathtaking in every direction. Lovely little pond with our friend “Lionel” the swan living there along with a few ducks. Shower and toilet facilities are some of the best i’ve seen on a campsite. The was a lovely bar/restaurant area which we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to try but we will next time!
The owners only took over the campsite October 2025 so don’t let any previous reviews put you off booking! We haven’t got a bad thing to say about it!
Thanks for a gorgeous stay, can’t wait to return!
