What customers say
This well-kept site boasts clean, modern facilities & friendly staff. It's a great balance of nature & access to Norwich/the Broads, with nearby water sports & walks. Some noted wet paths & occasional noise, but the manager addressed a bridge hazard. Good value & family-friendly.

A great site in a lovely location
Lower Meadow primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Excellent location. Just 2 miles from Norwich Centre but you wouldn't know it. Dat alongside the broad and river, lovely flat walks around the broad, watersports centre, cafe etc. on site is very clean and tidy. Choice of accommodation plus a large slightly sloping tent field. The motorhome caravan field is flat. Lots of beautiful woodland nearby and adjoining. Good host. Hard to fault.
Disliked Not really a dislike but there are no electric hook ups, waste water is catered for.

Really happy with my stay and would stay again.
Upper Meadow primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Staff very friendly and helpful.
Loved the location - plenty of birdsong, wild bunny rabbits and only a short walk over the road to a Beryl bike/scooter to hire and to Whitlingham broad (the walk around the broad is very nice).
Facilities were good.
Really good value for money.

totally recommend this hidden gem!
Field bell tent
Liked I’ve been staying at Whitlingham on and off for 10 years and have never had any problems. We love the bell tents, they make our outdoor adventures that little bit more comfortable! I can’t fault the site; the staff work hard to ensure everything is clean, tidy and working well. We love the lake and enjoy exploring ..
Disliked The play park is a little dated and there isn’t a huge amount for smaller children, so perhaps this is an area that could be developed in the future. That said, the children always manage to have fun and enjoy it every year!
