Well, here’s a winning Warwickshire location for an alfresco break – Owl Barn Farm Camping is a small and family-oriented site 15 minutes’ drive from Stratford-upon-Avon and close to the Cotswolds National Landscape. This countryside site is part of a family-run farm that you’ll be sharing with the resident chickens and goats. (They live in a separate enclosure, but are always happy to receive visitors…) You’ll be staying on grass pitches with access to simple facilities such as toilets, showers and a washing-up area. As for activities, on select dates during high season, the site runs popular goat-yoga sessions. Your cat-cow pose will never be the same after attempting it with a pygmy goat on your back… Filling your days with outdoor pursuits should be straightforward around here: there are lots of walking trails to choose from, plus options nearby for fishing, paddleboarding and open-water swimming. You’ll be able to tick off major landmarks too, including Stratford’s various Shakespeare-themed attractions and Warwick Castle (15 minutes’ drive). Meanwhile, if you’re here on a Saturday, you’ll be able to head over the road and seek out treasures at Wellesbourne Airfield Market. For other shopping (such as meal ingredients), there are a couple of supermarkets five minutes’ drive away; for those who'd rather eat out, there are a few pubs around the area and plenty of places to choose from in Stratford-upon-Avon.

A peaceful, friendly farm site with roomy spots and lots of nature. Guests loved meeting the goats and chickens. Facilities are clean and basic, with coin-op showers. Close to attractions. Owners are great! Occasional airfield noise noted. Wash-up area upgrades are planned.

Liked Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Helpful, welcoming owners. Goats, chickens and horses for the children to feed and interact with. Quiet, calm site close to local shops and Stratford.

Liked Lovely host and a very clean and tidy place to stay close to Stratford upon avon. The goats and chickens were very friendly but watch out for the cockerel as he’s a bit moody 😆. Shower facilities could do with an update but they do what you need and are open 24hours.

Would definitely stay again.

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked Really lovely laid-back campsite. Lots of space between each pitch. The owner, Vicky, was so friendly and chatted with our daughter about her goats and chickens. Clean toilets and showers. Close to Stratford upon Avon.

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked Gorgeous peaceful campsite in a perfect location for visiting Stratford and Warwick. There was plenty of room for the kids to run around and play it felt very safe and they loved the sense of freedom. The highlight was the kids absolutely loved spending time with the goats, chickens and horses. We will definitely be staying here again.

Liked friendly reception from Vicky on arrival then left alone to enjoy the stay and was only too happy to book an extra day with a relaxed departure time. The grand kids helped feed the chickens and goats which they thoroughly enjoyed. good location for seeing the surrounding areas of Warwick And Stratford on Avon.

She didn’t just run the site — she brought it to life, especially for the children. They were invited to join in real farm tasks like feeding the chickens and goats, turning everyday moments into memories they’re still talking about.The entire site felt incredibly safe and contained, giving us complete peace of mind to relax while the kids explored freely. The facilities were clean, well‑kept, and more than sufficient for everything we needed, striking that perfect balance between rustic charm and practical comfort.We genuinely had a brilliant time from start to finish. Owl Barn Farm is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit, which we have!
