What customers say
A rustic, back-to-basics spot with spacious sites & chill vibes. Friendly staff, great views, and a handy farm shop get nods. Facilities are basic but okay, portaloos are close. Showers/toilets could use a spruce-up. Campers have their own areas.

The Meadow primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Nice open space, plenty of places to pitch. Cleanest porter loo’s I’ve ever seen lol
Disliked Weren’t allowed to do campfires even though the website states that you can. People in the communal area were allowed to play quite loud music until gone 10pm.

Excellent little mid week break to relax and reset. Would recommend!

Liked I was looking for a wild camping experience with the luxury of a toilet and that’s what I got. Lovely big fields to pitch where you want. Lots of portaloos dotted around. Shower facilities and access to a microwave, fridge toaster and sink for washing up. Excellent straightforward check in. Everyone there seemed to be wanting the same experience and although friendly, kept to themselves. If you’re looking for peace and tranquility and to be in nature then this is the place to come. There is a farm shop but if you need supplies as I did then there is an ALDI and a Tesco within a 10 minute drive or a 45 minute walk.

Nice site, helpful host, big pitches.
Field stay primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite (large)
Liked Charlotte was super helpful, ended up booking for the wrong week and it was not an issue, Charlotte changed the booking for us.
The Sunday was deserted, had we stayed it would have been a nice quiet night.
The pitches are huge and can pick where you pitch up.
The fields well maintained.
Plenty of Portable toilets. There are normal toilet and shower combo, but only two of them on the farm shop, so you might have to queue if it is busy, we had no issues with this on the Saturday.
Able to get a small fire pit which was handy for roasting marshmallows!
Disliked On the Saturday had an awfully loud group in the relax field, shouting into the early hours, although this is quite unlucky and something the owners can’t be blamed for.
