What customers say
Lovely, peaceful riverside spot with friendly staff & ample pitches. Close to a good pub and nice walks. Downsides? Facilities, esp. washrooms, are very dated, worn & poorly maintained/clean. Still, many enjoyed the location & quiet vibes.

Great location, level pitches, clean facilities, friendly staff
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Very pleasant stay on the grass pitch only field. It was nice and quiet surrounded by nature, friendly staff, loos and showers recently painted, basic but clean.
Great location by the river for walks, paddle boarding and a nice pint and meal at the authentic old pub, The Lower Lode Inn, after should you fancy.

Well worth a visit if you don’t mind the toilets and showers
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Location was excellent, lots of willow trees, on the riverside and a pub on the doorstep.
Disliked Toilets and showers were very dilapidated. Not very clean and lots of things broken (lights, toilet seats, soap dispenser etc). Only one usable shower for males and it’s tiny. The building isn’t heated and would be unpleasant in cold weather.

Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Nice pub nearby riverside location.
Disliked Dirty showers/toilets. No hot water in loos. Wash up area hot water but not clean. The whole site very run down and at £30 a night far too expensive. I paid for 2 nights but left after 1 night. Wouldn't recommend the place.

Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Location to the Pub, Lower Lode inn, and River Severn. Power and water supply near pitches.
Disliked The whole site needs freshening up. The pitches looked much better on the photographs, empty or broken soap dispensers in toilets, no signage for grey waste soak away.
