Liked Spacious sized pitches set in grounds of lovely olde English pub, in nice setting. Basic facilities but this is pub site and fully expected. Staff in pub were very friendly and food was lovely.

Liked The venue served nice food, the staff everywhere were very friendly and helpful. The lakeside bar was nice to relax at. Easy walking distance to nearby pub and food outlet if wanted to venture off site. Had plenty of space on pitch and although site not full think pitches would still be good size.

Disliked No WiFi signal, and TV reception not great on first night but worked fine after facing the camper round. Although on site shop was handy, and bakery a nice touch, produce was fairly limited and feel a lot more could be made of it, especially for such a large site. Although not an actual dislike, I would come again but not during peak times as could imagine it would be too busy to make most of it, having said that it is a large family friendly site and would imagine great for families with children.

Liked Fantastic views. Extremely clean facilities ( especially as it’s a farm site and one of best farm sites we’ve stayed in). plenty of space. Well set out site. Information prior to arrival was really clear and despite self checking in the owner still came over to welcome us and make sure we settled in. Good TV reception and great WiFi.

Liked Lovely site with great hillside views. Clubhouse really nice with friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. On site fish and chip shop added bonus, and very good quality. Only stayed one night so did not use facilities but what I did use was very clean and tidy. Fairly small site but did not feel enclosed.

Disliked No TV signal, and WiFi not brilliant but worked well in the club and as pitch very close to clubhouse the signal was fine.

Liked Proximity to beamish museum. And good distances from other nearby places. Nice hot showers ( although have an automatic switch off which annoying when washing hair) good washing up area. Level pitches Had a great view from pitch during our stay as no other vehicles next to us however if site full this would have been blocked

Disliked Quite a compact site and would have felt bit closed in if site was full when we stayed. Club not open at all during stay, which was disappointing as nothing else within walking distance, and although states seasonal would have thought middle of may would have come into this category. Good TV signal

Liked Very friendly staff, clean and well laid out site. Good choice of food products in farm shop. Good quality. Good on site cafe. Good size pitches. Other reviews mention road noise and whilst this is evident, we were sited very close to road and did not affect stay.

Disliked Wi-Fi quite poor and TV reception not great.

Liked Nice clean site, good sized pitches. Only stayed one night and didn’t really make best of what was on offer. Would come again for longer to make best of site.

Liked Spotless facilities and great location within very easy reach of the beach. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Only wish I’d booked for couple more nights. Easy drive to Aberystwyth.

Liked The on site pub, serving nice pub food at reasonable prices. Although close to railway the site was still very peaceful and also has options of pitches well away from the track as informed by the owner, when we arrived. Staff really friendly and helpful. Fairly basic facilities however had everything needed for pitching up with showers, washing up facilities etc and added bonus of water on the pitch.

Liked Everything. Pitches great size, with water, EHU and Tv aerial point. All facilities really good. Proximity to lovely shopping village added bonus, and can’t wait to return in better weather to take advantage of the outdoor activities nearby. . Staff really friendly and helpful. Was told site WI-FI might be patchy but worked perfectly

Liked Animals ( donkeys and goats) and lovely babbling brook running behind pitch. Pitch good size. This is obviously a working farm but pitches separated from main farm buildings. All the necessary facilities re showers/ toilets and EHU. Close to Brecon to visit but still surrounded by gorgeous countryside. We were lucky with weather but would probably need wellies if heavy rain.

Liked Very peaceful. Really good clean facilities including laundry area. Nice dog walking area. Pitches very good size and site overall very well kept.

Disliked Wi-Fi signal poor, and Tv reception not great however suspect this was affected by bad weather, and may also not be much of a priority for many people and would be only reason I personally wouldn’t return. The site owner very generous ly allowed us to move pitch to get better signal

Liked Lovely and peaceful. Not too big a site and facilities were very clean and well maintained. The cafe was first class, good quality food, reasonable prices and very friendly staff. Although no children with us I noticed the cafe had really good play area for small children. Free Wi-Fi on site an added bonus.

Liked Site manager very friendly, well stocked shop and lovely location with sites of surrounding mountains. Only reason for us not to return is lack of Wi-Fi/TV signal. Lovely site if this wouldn’t affect you

Disliked Road works in area made it difficult to follow directions however these will obviously not be permanent. No Wi-Fi signal and unable to get Tv signal
