Liked: We had a problem with are motorhome. Jackie the site manage put her body and soul into helping us, with a lot of help from others. To get us happily on are way. The food in pub is good value.

This is not there fault as they must be getting ready for summer but they are having a-lot of work done to the site.

Liked: It’s a small site, secure, quiet and has a lovely pub with great homemade food.
I woke up to the sound of bird song and sunshine with no neighbours.
I had to leave early and Ruth kindly unlocked the gate earlier that normal to help me out.
I will definitely return to this site when I can spend a bit more time to relax.Disliked: A bit muddy but you can’t help the weather!

Clean, individual self contained shower and toilet facilities.Disliked: Currently building new toilet block so the road was rather muddy.

Liked: The George pub
Disliked: The state of the park was terrible, the weather had been very poor, but they were having building work done, so next to our pitch was a big pile of hard core, great big vehicles going directly in front of our caravan, flicking up mud from their tyres. The manageress made us feel like we were an inconvenience, thank goodness that the weather was dry during our short stay, I dread to think what it would have been like then. We should have been told about the building work, we booked early enough.
I apologised and explained to you on arrival that we had on-going building work and asked you if the allocated pitch was ok (it had plenty of room for your vehicle and two dogs) with a view to moving you to a smaller pitch well away from the builders.
You chose to stay on that pitch. It was your choice.
It's a shame that you didn't ask me if you could move since you weren't happy there.
Will not be returning to this site any time soon

On arrival you were immediately offered a different pitch when you expressed a dislike of the allocated pitch. The next day you decided that you liked neither grass nor hard standing.
I hope your break went well for you at your following destination.

Liked: Lovely site, well maintained, generous sized pitches all had EHU and drinking water.
Showers, toilet block and washing up area.
X2 individual toilets also within site and heated too!!!
All spotless (other than muddy footprints but that’s a given when it wet and raining).
Variety of scenic walks on the doorstep.
Pub ‘The George Inn’ on site with plenty of choice and dogs allowed but in bar area only.
The steak melted in your mouth and the meal portions are very good and reasonable priced.
They do daily carvery from 12md and a breakfast menu from 9-12.Free WiFi in pub if you need it.
Disliked: Barrier at entrance, warden lets you in initially then you get a card (£10 deposit) to activate it during your stay.

Disliked: The fact that we couldn't enter until 1pm not sure if understand this rjle others leave by 11am its not as if there is a room to tidy

The time between departures and arrivals is used to ensure that the facilities, pitches and campsite are clean, tidy and pleasant for everyone.
