Spacious pitch. Clean facilities. Lovely owners. Pub does amazing breakfast definitely be booking another weekend soon

There is an unfenced open section behind a few pitches further up that does straight down to the river. Just something to be cautious of with young children

We just love this site. Excellent for walks, pitches are a good size, toilet facilities are fine and kept clean. Pub is great in both food and alcohol. We visit at least once a year and gave no plans to stop that

Warm welcome and good size pitches with EHU. Walks along the river from the site. No issues with noise from people leaving the pub at night. Really good stopover en route from Cornwall to Yorkshire. Site barriers gave good security.

Some (unavoidable) noise from the road but quiet overnight.

Loved that we could put caravans either way so could have awning near better with the kids and dogs definitely be back

Would have liked WiFi so could watch my Netflix but overall lovely site close to everything we needed

Great pitch & excellent clean facilities and very chilled. Staff extremely friendly & helpful and the pub on site does really good food. Nice walks along the river with the dog too.

Lovely pleasant warden on arrival. We had a great spacious pitch with water and electric close by. Excellent shower block and easy dog walk along the canal adjacent to the site.

We have a 7 man tent and require a large pitch. Our pitch was huge!
The site is small and quiet but just what we wanted. Lovely walks near by.
Pub is really reasonably priced.
Owners of the campsite are friendly.
The water to the pits and showers are hot.
1 hour from Clarkson’s pub which is well worth a visit. Book in advance if you want a table.

Everything about this site . Great position on river with lovely walks . The pitches were spacious and flat .the facilities are amazing . ( your very own bathroom ) a home from home , wonderfully clean . The site is well positioned for the pub , a good meal and a drink and plus it was dog friendly .
The family that run the site are friendly and knowledgable on the area and keep the camping site clean and tidy at all times

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like on this trip and will return .
