Location to break up the journey

Pitch was a bit overgrown

Lovely site with friendly and helpful staff. The George pub serves fabulous food (we had an evening meal and breakfast), highly recommended.

This was a really good site, good spacious pitches. Good facilities and bonus with pub on site.

the communal toilets, grey waste area was next door to our pitch so was loud at times as people felt the need to shout when going to the loo at night.

Road noise could have been better

Pitches were good along with shower rooms, more like a bathroom plenty of room to move around & very clean

Single toilet doors need looking into, you have to double lock door when inside and we found the double locking a little difficult, other than this small problem for us toilet clean

Nice site and staff was ok.

Pub the beef was red raw but veg and gravy and other meats was ok. Rude carvery staff but campsite was great.

Fab little site, we stopped over on our way to Cornwall, and literally just 5 mins off the motorway, the lady warden was so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble, lovely pub on site too which was a bonus, great sized pitch with hedges either side and a picnic bench, would stay again

Lovely small site with beautiful country walks. Great washing facilities and added bonus of having The George next door. The kids especially loved the play area and bouncy castle

Unfortunately, when we arrived we found our neighbours had allowed their dog to foul on our pitch and hadn’t picked it up, thankfully another neighbour saw this and let us know before we set up for the night
