The spacing was good between pitches with 2 pitches seperated by a hedge in between. The shower block bathrooms were luxury and I only had to wait a few minutes one day to use. It was well lit at night especially being a solo female trip to the toilet felt safe. Nice to have the riverside walk at the back of my tent and the pub garden in full sun when my pitch was shaded.

Great Campsite....well divided pitches , beautifully kept . Showers and toilets were clean, well sized and plenty for the size of the campsite. A great site would highly recommend 👍

A nice quiet campsite, close to the Gloucester Sharpness canal and Slimbridge bird sanctuary, and attached to the George pub with good food.
We’ve stayed there before and we’ll stay there again.

There’s nothing to dislike about this campsite.

Great location with easy access from main road.Good pitch size for our twin axle caravan (no awning). Very helpful warden made sure we had a pitch with fence by the river as we had small children. Huge family bathrooms with all facilities inside, enough room for three children and two adults to shower.
Pub with playground and very reasonably priced menu.

Brilliant little site. Lovely atmosphere. Daughter loved the park.
Toilet block very clean. Extended our stay as we love it here! Great for chilling out. Will definitely be visiting again!

Leaving!

This has been our second stay in 2 years and it’s a great place. Plenty to do in the local area but also quiet enough to relax. Nice and clean shower and washing up facilities as well as the clean toilet blocks which are next to the water waste disposal. Nice short walk to Rosie’s Wood as well which the kids enjoyed. Clean location and fairly private pitches.

we stayed at Riverside caravan park at The George Inn and we would like to say that firstly we were made so welcome with such a friendly greeting and very accommodating regarding us changing pitch due to my disability.
The pitch was a great size and well kept with secure shower/toilet blocks and barrier.
Handy for nice walks and on a bus route.
The bonus was the George Inn which is right next door with lovely staff and food was excellent and great value .we will be back .
