I suffer with COPD and cannot walk far, the staff changed our pitch straight away... thanks ladies.

All of it. It’s our favourite site. Peaceful with a lovely pitch, clean facilities and really nice walks. So doggie friendly. X

Closeness to motorway. The pub is a bonus and lovely walk from site to canal

How random the pitches are allocated ie we had to squeeze on.our pitch with only couple of foot between us and hedge the one of the largest pitches had a very small camper van on. Warden can be bit unapproachable regarding leaving earlier than 9am

Very friendly welcome, loved the way the pitches were all separated by hedges so you weren't all on top of each other.
Another amazing feature of this site was the toilets and shower room facilities, they were fantastically clean and roomy. Each bathroom had a shower, sink and toilet so there was no need for the usual campsite shower block shuffle, where you try in vain to get dry and dressed in a tiny little cubacle without dropping your clean clothes in the shower tray (I'm sure other campers can I identify with this).
The Pub on site, did amazing food, the staff and locals were extremely friendly.
All this on top of an amazing location we will definitely stay again and highly recommend this site to everyone

Not exactly a dislike, maybe just a bit of feedback, 2 of my party have an allergy to eggs and at breakfast in the pub, we were told we couldn't swap the eggs for extra beans etc but staff would happily just leave the eggs off the plate. Given the circumstances it would have been nice if staff could have considered this request, or perhaps changed the breakfast to say any 5 items for x price with additional items at x price?

The cleanliness of the site and all the amenities. The shower rooms are large and have toilet, sink and mirror. Lovely pub on site for eating in or takeaway.

A lovely little site. The pitches are a nice size each with water and electric and if you are travelling with friends it’s great to get 2 together as they are enclosed by tall hedges meaning you have a little camp. The site facilities are very good and we never had to wait to use them and they were always clean. The adjoining pub serves a great breakfast and very good evening food and whilst not cheap not the most expensive either. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we will gladly visit again.

Nothing, it was pretty perfect.

We have stayed several times and have always been pleased with pitch,service ,facilities, and off course The George Pub .
The location is great and we hopped on a bus to Gloucester which is a lovely place especially the river and Dock area

A wonderful welcome on arrival. Beautiful facilities, amazingly a bathroom, lovely hot shower in a large cubicle spotlessly clean, one of the best we've ever stayed at. Site very quiet despite being close to A38. Lovely pub adjoining with friendly helpful staff and a very nice breakfast. walks straight from site to surrounding villages across fields. Also bus stop to areas further afield on doorstep.

Not really a dislike more of a would like, we stayed overnight, if staying longer we would have wanted a larger pitch as no room for an awning with our small campervan.
