Great Place to stay. Very quite, clean and friendly.

Everything. Lovely welcome when entering the campsite. Beautiful scenery and nice walks. The George pub was lovely and the food was wonderful. Breakfast beautifully cooked in the morning. Will be back again for sure.

The barrier on arriving. Our Motorhome too high to go in but lovely lady arrived to let us in. Could hear the cars on busy road.

Very clean toilet block and site. Got a take away at WhitMinister, only 5 minutes drive away. Pub beside the site with play area for kids, we never use it so can't comment on it. Would definitely use the site again.

Nice clean well run site, love the height barrier 🚧. Shower block is clean and well laid out, great idea with the entry card system (£10 deposit) for site and amenities, easy walks to the seven canal then well signed walks or bike routes.

Close to pub lovely woods to walk dogs in , lovely showers and toilets

Very close to others not much room to put windbreakers up for privacy

Very friendly staff. Very clean. Kids had a great time. Dog friendly was a bonus.

Lovely site with friendly warden. Clean showers and toilets. Play park attached to pub/site was great to keep the kids entertained. Pub staff friendly on arrival and explained everything clearly (we arrived on the wardens day off) Yes there is a £10 refundable deposit to be paid for a card so you can use the shower block and gain entrance to the site as it has a barrier and height restriction at the entrance keeping the site secure, but not really an issue, if you arrive on the wardens day off pop into the pub, staff know exactly what to do. Can not fault the site at all and we found it a great base to explore Gloucester (approx 20mins) , Forest of Dean (approx 30mins) and Wales (approx 30 mins) also Attwoolls is 5mins up the road if you need any bits and bobs. Dursley is approx 4 miles up the road with a Sainsbury’s. Would stay at this site again.

Not really a dislike but to highlight. As mentioned £10 refundable deposit for a card to enter/exit site and to use shower block, this is not a problem at all but it could be added to site info as the only way I knew about it was by reading the reviews which I do anyway before booking a site so not an issue for me , staff memeber in pub did mention she thought it should be added to the site information for clarity.

Lovely site. Very clean. Grounds were well maintained.
Grass was well maintained.
Card needed for entry and departure . £10 deposit returned on day of departure. This was no problem as safety of vehicles was ensured.
Hard standing pitch. Plenty of room for motorhome and tow car.
Shower/toilets clean with plenty of hot water. Entry by card.
Additional toilet block available.
Pub close-by. Good beer with nice beer garden . Breakfast was delicious. Good menu available for food. Friendly staff.
Dog friendly everywhere.
Nice dog walk close through a small wood.

Close to a busy road. Wasn’t aware of this before our visit.
Noise not a problem during the day but noisy at night. Motorcycles racing at night until late. Lorries could be heard from early morning. The road noise did affect sleep quality. Our pitch was closest to the pub. Pitches further away may not experience as much road noise.
