Loved. it The setting, the size of the pitches,the close proximity of the pub. What 's not to like. We will be back in the summer

A very good site with excellent facilities which are well maintained and very clean. The setting next to The George Inn, (a good public house serving excellent food with which it is commercially linked) on the main A38 road and with a stretch of woodland, complete with stream, was perfect.

The site has a good security system using smart cards for vehicle access which unfortunately failed during our stay but the staff ensured that users were not put to any inconvenience pending it's repair. We also learned just before we had to leave that 8 units from a party booked in for the weekend had just been rebooked by the site management at a neighbouring site because the excessive rain we'd experienced had made it untenable to use some of our sites grass pitches, a move that reflects well on their husbandry of the site.

This is somewhere I would willingly go back to when in the area.

Great site, very friendly helpful welcome, facilities are clean and very well maintained. I would recommend a stay if you are travelling down that way or want to explore the area.

Arrived in middle of torrential rain, we had booked grass pitches but the lady that greeted us was amazing she was worried we would get stuck on the grass so managed to sort us out onto hardstandings. We only stayed for 2 night but this place with great pub and food on site we will return as soon as we can. Toilets fantastic own bathroom couldnt ask for more we loved it. Wouldnt say ideal if you had trouble walking as ground a bit rough in places very stoney. We have to mark this place 10/10 and as i said lady at the gate such a happy and helpful person also staff at pub, food was lovely and reasonable price. Cant wait to return
