Liked: A small camp site which was well run with a very pleasant , friendly lady who checked us in.
Well located and easy to find with the added advantage of being next to a pub which served good food.
Good walks from camp site along river bank

Liked: 2nd visit to this site on our way back from Cornwall. I can't fault the facilities or the friendliness of the warden and welcome we had. Great pub next door serving good food. WiFi available in pub.

Liked: Nice hedges in between for privacy. Very informative on T’s and C’s and how things worked on arrival. Shower block with individual bathrooms brilliant so clean and private and water lovely temp without being too hot.
Disliked: Pub meal and drinks prices way too expensive never visited for this reason went to local Tesco and cooked ourselves

Liked: Very friendly welcome on arrival. Showers and loos spotless. Good Sunday carvery in the George Inn. Not far from M5. Good value for money

Liked: Nice area by the River, well kept pitches with nice shower and toilet facilities, the Sunday carvery in the pub was excellent and it was good that the pub was so close for a drink in the evening.
Disliked: Issues with the barrier at the exit/entrance which wasn’t a show stopped but was a pain. Pitches were hard standing due to the poor weather (not a problem at all) but they were very tight to get on and off of.

Whilst I have the opportunity, I'd just like to tell all of the lovely campers I have met whilst working as warden here that due to restructuring of the company, I am no longer going to be working at Riverside caravan park at the George from Nov 2023.
I want to thank you all for staying here and helping to make my time here so much fun! I've really enjoyed running the campsite, meeting all my guests and chatting with you all. I've learned a lot, laughed a lot and had a great time!
I wish you all many more happy camping trips and I may see some of you in another campsite sometime.
