Pitches a lovely size.. shower block nice showers lovely and hot..easy to get too..lovely pub onsite with friendly staff

Nothing to dislike

Good level hardstanding, toilets clean, beer and food in the George was very good, easy to get in and out despite having to get the pub staff to open the barrier when we arrived/departed with the caravan.

Riverside hard standing pitch. Very quiet as we were down at the bottomend of the site. This was good bearing in mind the site is situated on a busy main road.The facilities were very clean and warm. The staff were great and the food at the pub was amazing!

The pitch was quite narrow, although this wasn't a problem for us because we wasn't using the awning on this visit.

Very easy access to the George Inn food was excellent really enjoyed and meals the shower blocks and toilets was very clean and the waters lovely and hot only fought you have to walk on the outside of the campsite to gain access to them

The only dislikes the drinks are a bit on the expensive side you could not sit in there all afternoon and evening at there prices if you had a family

Easy access. Lots of space. Clean level pitches. Pub was brilliant. Excellent shower rooms and toilets.

Excellent facilities, heated shower rooms, very modern and clean.
Very good waste, elsan, fresh water area with two portaloos, again heated and very clean
We were on hardstanding pitch due to ground being boggy but grass pitches are very large and have high hedge dividers.
Security is very good with double barrier.
The George caters very well for diners and has a good range of beers.

For the size of The George it would be nice to have a designated bar area with comfy seating as the choice was sit at bar or at dining tables.
Also best to ask for pitch near to Shower block if on hardstanding, we were originally put on hardstanding surrounded by very boggy grass at bottom end of site and it was difficult to manoevre car and van without getting stuck and pitches were very close together.

A lovely place to stay with a river next to you and it’s so peaceful, the staff in the pub came out to open the height barrier to let us in.
The showers and toilets were especially clean and well looked after.
The pub is dog friendly and you are very welcomed by all, food was very good and I would definitely recommend a stay here.

The toilet/shower block entrance is right next to the river, no fence next to the river so in the dark can be quite dangerous.
