Liked The facilities were very clean and tidy. There was a microwave & toaster provided for general use. You can buy eggs, milk, coffee & tea. There are even freezer bags provided to put your food in in the communal fridge/freezer. Several bottles of washing up liquid were provided, together with washing up bowls, cloths & sponges. You can also hire a variety of firepits, BBQs and chimineas or a washing line and you can buy firewood on site. The owner was very friendly and gave me a tour of the site.
Disliked The shower wasn't very powerful. The weather was pretty dire, when I stayed unfortunately, strong winds and torrential rain. I only stayed 2 nights instead of the 4 that I'd paid for as I couldn't sleep with the awful weather & decided to stay in my friends' caravan instead.

Liked The owners were very friendly and helpful, they explained everything. Serviced pitch was excellent, covered area ideal for dishwashing or a cup of tea with other campers. Facilities were kept exceptionally clean. Pub and bus stop just down the village.
Disliked Nothing

Fully-serviced concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Very large pitches ours was a gravel hardstanding with grass, fully serviced. It became apparent that this was the nicest camp site we have stayed at. The shared services post is further away than usual but that is fair given the size of the pitch and we were offered extensions if we needed them, which we didn't. Cleanliness. Friendliness. As you can read from others, the toilets are spotless, the showers are similar to what you may have at home. The chemical disposal is well designed and clean. Wi-Fi is strong and fast. The owners go above and beyond to provide a comfortable and very pleasant stay and have provided a comfortable enlosed area with tables and other facilities which apart from socialising can provide a walk around refuge to those with hiking tents in bad weather. Our holiday coincided with probably the worst wet weather of this year accross the country. All local rivers were in severe flood and some had burst their banks with widespread flooding. During one biblical 24 hr monsoon rain period after 7 days of on / off hard rain the immaculate paddock field got a bit splashy under foot but the next morning it had drained to just wet grass again. I feel anyones garden or other campsite would have been the same or probably a lot worse so well done The Paddocks for having a well drained field. Throughout this the facilities were kept spotless. Good to watch the wild birds around the pitch and even a Buzzard strolling around the paddock and only a few meters from our caravan. We were there for 2 weeks and managed to get to see everything we wanted despite the appaling weather, the last 5 days Mount Snowdon et al were all visible. Central location for touring Snowdonia with good road / rail links. So much to see and do. If towing or large vehicle best not to approach through Criccieth but take the B4411 off the A487 as your route.
Disliked Nothing. Only good.
